Stay in Le Faou

Lovely quiet village located on the estuary, with the tourist office of the Parc d'Amorique in the village, with lots of helpful info. Property is set back from the main road and quiet at night with access to a shared garden at rear and own patio to the front with loungers in both. Kitchen is well stocked. Property and adjacent dwellings are behind an electric gate, so feels secure. If you want to have access to bikes, as advertised, then it needs to be pre-booked with the owner, in advance of your arrival. Owner responds quickly to messages but damaged overhead shower head not fixed till second week of stay but other shower head functional. We enjoyed our stay in Le Faou and shops owners in the village all very friendly and happy to oblige – particularly the boulangerie who made us veggie baguette sandwiches😉

Emplacement idéal pour visiter la presqu’île de Crozon …le logement est grand et spacieux et bien équipé . Tous les commerces essentiels sont à proximité .

excellent séjour dans une belle maison à 200 m à pied du centre du Faou. parking facile dans la cour.L'intérieur est clair, moderne , confortable et bien équipé.L hôte est très réactif.En résumé nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir dans une région magnifique.

Séjour pour visiter le Finistère

Emplacement idéal pour visiter le Finistère. Maison en plein centre, boulangerie, resto... à pied. Pour la maison, du détail, il manquerai un aspirateur et un peu plus de déco notamment au mur.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Westen der Bretagne

Le Faou ist ein pittoresker Ort, gut erreichbar über die Route National zwischen Nantes und Brest und dadurch gut geeignet für Ausflüge in den Westen der Bretagne. Das Haus liegt gut, es gibt mehrere, fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbare Restaurants, Creperien (davon eine der besten der Bretagne) und einen Fischladen, der auch Krustentiere und Fisch anbietet. Zum Strand muss man ca. 25min fahren, auf die Halbinsel Crozon, die Strände dort sind schön, aber bei schönem Wetter ist das Parken schwierig. Das Haus ist etwas lieblos eingerichtet, sehr karg, kaum Schränke oder Ablagemöglichkeiten, die Küche enthält eine Grundausstattung. Es gab aber darüber hinaus praktisch nichts dort, wir haben vom Salz bis zur Seife, Spülmittel, Wischlappen und Geschirrtücher alles erst einmal besorgen müssen. Es gibt einen Außenbereich - nach vorn heraus wirkt er aber wie Sitzen auf einem Parkplatz, hinten ist ein Garten,der mit anderen geteilt wird, Liegestühle gibt es aber nicht für alle. Auch hier wirkt alles sehr karg und wenig einladend, was sehr schade ist. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und reagiert auf Anfragen sofort. Es wäre sinnvoll - bei längeren Aufenthalten - auch mal eine Zwischenreinigung und einen Handtuchwechsel anzubieten, das würde den Komfort wesentlich erhöhen. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt sehr schön, man benötigt aber ein Auto, ÖPNV gibt es dort praktisch nicht.

Vacances Finistère Bretagne

Merveilleux séjour au Faou d'où nous sommes partis chaque jour pour visiter les nombreux sites du département. Et Jean Louis,notre loueur , est un gars très sympa ! D'ailleurs je vous conseille son resto, on y mange très bien.
