Wonderful stay!

We loved this rental! Neil was a fabulous host, he was very quick to respond to any questions we had and was just a great guy… we loved the cabin and the property was well taken care of and quiet. Would 100% recommend!

a quick stay

We were only on the island for a night to visit Volcanoes NP and some of the south beaches, but our interaction with Neil both through the app and upon arrival was pleasant and informative. The place was nice, clean, and had everything you’d need when traveling. Follow his directions getting there. We appreciated the one night stay.

Absolutely loved this tiny home! It was very clean & set up great. Neil was great & had a very helpful binder for guests. It is very quiet & peaceful.

Our stay was canceled the day we were to arrive. Neil had passed away. An astute neighbor emailed to let us know, thankfully. Then we were in scramble- mode looking for a replacement accommodation. We got no warning from VRBO.

Perfect Getaway

This property was everything we hoped it would be. Sitting outside, cooking outdoors with the fresh eggs Neil left us, and our groceries from the farmers market was amazing. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. If we ever find ourselves back on The Big Island we will be staying here again for sure.

Paradise!

Absolutely loved it, had everything I could wish for and was so clean. Very lush surroundings with a lovely drive to location as well. Also fast wifi if you have some work to do. Neil is an amazing host who definitely cares about keeping things great!

Place is just as advterised

We were very happy with our stay. It was very clean and more spacious than we were expecting. We really enjoyed hanging out each evening outside, cooking and playing games. We watched TV each night, which was nice as well. The property is very nice and everything we needed was provided.

First tiny house stay!

This is a beautiful property! All the typical amenities with the novelty of a tiny house. Tricky getting to, especially at night, but Neil’s directions are very clear and the start was definitely worth the challenge. Would recommend.

Great of grid cabin

This was a great off grid cabin with all the comforts of a regular home. Neil keeps the place clean and has thought through all the details. Come check out what is possible on the island of Hawaii.

Perfect getaway

We take our pups on a staycations around the island and feel very lucky that Neil allows for pets as not many places do. It was so perfect to chill in the outside area with the pups knowing they were safely fenced in and loving life. It’s a beautiful property, super clean and had all we could ever ask for. Super kind host! The place is super clean and everything has been thought of. Beds and pillows super comfortable. Cooking in the outdoor kitchen is a lot of fun taking in the views and socializing with the fam. Great location to experience this side of the island. Highly recommend this rental.

It was as if we entered another world along the lines of Swiss Family Robinson. It was a delight to be in a private setting so connected to the rain forest with kitchen and living room open to nature. Neil had gone to great care in insuring that guests needs are taken care of.

Rustic and comfy cabin

Just stayed one night but the cabin was very comfortable and well-appointed, surrounded by well-tended grounds. Neil was the perfect host, gave us four fresh eggs and a bunch of tangerines from the trees just outside the cabin. There are coqui frogs so if these disturb you, bring noise-cancelling ear buds. Mahalo Neil!

Magical

This cottage was special. From the outdoor kitchen/living room to the comfy bed and the private outdoor toilet/shower. Experiencing off-grid living was awesome. Neil was a great host and explained everything to us and we had some great personal "talk story" sessions. One of the reasons for this short staycation was to look at properties and we are looking forward to hopefully being friends and neighbors with Neil. We definitely recommend his BnB.

You get your moneys worth!

We LOVE this place -It was our second time back.It is a destination all in itself.The property is magical.Its quiet, gorgeous, well kept and has that quality you just can't put into words.Neil was once again so accommodating -he goes above and beyond -You get 5 star treatment for a 2 star price.Now that's my kinda deal.We will be back.Our dog Lulu is in love with it too.
