Designed for beauty and comfort, there is an air-conditioner, comfortable couch, pillow top queen-sized bed, large tiled shower, TV, WiFI, and lovely lanai with table and chairs. DID I MENTION THE VIEW? The view is enchanting! You simply cannot get closer to the water without jumping in!
Condo is located on fourth floor (elevator access) with 180 degree, unobstructed ocean views!
Ma'alaea is soooo conveniently located! Just about 12 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Costco, 15 minutes to Kihei, 25 minutes to Lahaina and 10 seconds to the ocean! Great surfing and snorkeling right out the front door, a long, beautiful beach for walks, shops, restaurants, the aquarium, and snorkel/dive boats, fishing boats, sunset cruises—all just five minutes away. There is a sweet little beach park just a five minute walk down the road. The Island Sands complex offers a pool as well!
Located off the the hwy, on a relatively remote beach where you will see almost no one else.
There is no more sugar cane on Maui so any write ups you may have seen about the inconvenience from burning sugar cane no longer happens!!
The view includes: watching the sunrise —or moonrise!—over Haleakala, gazing out to Molokini Crater, watching the sunset off of Kahoolawe, boats coming to and from the harbor, surfers at "Freight Train" surf site, Humpback whales from Dec. through April, Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles all year long! It truly is magical, mesmerizing and ever-changing!
We live about 30 minutes away and are happy to greet you in person if need be, however, we are all set up for self-check in so you can get in easily. We are always a phone call or text message away if you need absolutely anything. Our goal is for you to have a great stay, so please let us know personally if we can do anything to improve your visit while you are here. There is also an office manager on site in case of emergencies.
Maui is best accessed by rental car as it gives you the most freedom to explore. however, there is a bus service that goes to Ma'alaea harbor. You can walk to shops, restaurants, great beach walks, boats, live music....all within minutes once you have arrived.
If you want to split up your Maui experience between the ocean and the forest/lush upcountry experience, we have a charming cottage (Gingerbread House) upcountry in Makawao, as well.
