This well-appointed and lovingly maintained oceanside retreat in the heart of Corolla's Whalehead Beach is the ideal spot for family fun. Come experience the best of the Outer Banks with us!
Here's what makes our home special:
𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘆: Our property is just 800 ft (~5-min walk/6 houses) to the beach. The Coral St. beach access path begins just one lot away from our house, which makes it incredibly convenient for families with young children to enjoy the sand and surf. Got a ton of stuff or tired toddlers to transport? No problem! Simply load up our handy wagons and enjoy a hassle-free day by the ocean. We are east of NC-12 with no major roads to cross.
𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: With an oversized half-acre lot that’s close to Corolla’s many attractions, our home’s location is the perfect balance between convenience and privacy. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, spacious, and well-maintained. Within 1 mile, you’ll find a large selection of shops, grocery stores, attractions, and delicious local eateries. Family-friendly activities abound in Corolla with something for everyone—fishing, crabbing, kayaking, parasailing, boat charters and rentals, jet skiing, mini golf, bumper cars, sightseeing, shopping, and more are all available to you. Discover countless other charms such as golf courses, beer gardens and breweries, historical attractions like the Whalehead Club and Currituck Beach Lighthouse, and the 4x4 beaches (home of the famed Corolla wild horses). We're in a great spot if you enjoy renting bikes or golf carts!
𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁: With five generous-sized bedrooms, each offering at least one king or queen bed, our home offers flexible sleeping arrangements accommodating up to 15 guests comfortably. Ample common spaces both indoor and out ensure that everyone can relax and spread out after a day of adventure.
𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Enjoy endless entertainment with our private heated swimming pool (12'x24'), inviting hot tub, large yard, and a spacious sand pit area—a perfect shaded area for kids to build sandcastles, play games, and let their imaginations run wild. With outdoor barstools and a drink rail, it’s a great spot for adults to socialize and play yard games, too! The heated pool feature ensures enjoyment even during cooler seasons.
𝗞𝗶𝗱-𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀: We've got your little ones covered with baby/toddler essentials, including cribs, highchairs, gates, and more—all available at no extra cost. Plus, plenty of beach and pool toys and gear to keep them entertained for hours. Inquire for more specifics.
𝗣𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆: Two dogs stay free with each reservation. If you have additional four-legged travelers, that's no problem. We can accommodate additional dogs for $175 per animal with advance notice. There are no breed or weight restrictions, but they need to be at least 1 year old, fully housebroken, and sufficiently trained not to be destructive.
𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻: Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for family meals and cookouts, making it easy to prepare delicious feasts together (see bulleted list below). In 2024, we undertook a major renovation project, including the complete overhaul of our kitchen and dry bar areas. These updates were designed with our guests' needs in mind, and our reviews frequently compliment its functionality and aesthetics as a highlight of the stay.
𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀: We strive to provide our guests with everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. These include:
• Bed linens and bath towels (but bring your own beach towels)
• Beach/pool gear—chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, wagon, toys, etc.
• Baby/toddler essentials—full-size crib, pack-n-play, extra toddler mattress, two highchairs, booster seat, step stool, multiple gates, changing pad, noise machines, monitors, and outlet covers
• Dinnerware, cutlery, and glassware for 15, as well as plenty of bakeware, cookware, prepware, and kitchen utensils (including a knife sharpener!)
• Small appliances such as a coffee maker (drip and k-cup, plus carafes for French press and cold brew), slow cooker, blender, toaster, and stand mixer
• Second refrigerator with freezer for overflow food and beverages, plus a beer/wine mini fridge
• Cable and streaming services, smart TVs, and wireless internet throughout
• Washer and dryer
• Yard games, basketball goal, board games, and puzzles
• Outdoor shower (fully-enclosed and lighted)
• Gas grill with propane supplied

𝗡 𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝘀: We believe in transparent pricing. Everything is included in the nightly rate, from cleaning to pool heat.
𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗯 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: For 2025, the swimming pool will be available beginning April 5 through November 1, and the hot tub will remain available through January 3, 2026. For 2026, both amenities will be available March 28. Outside of these time frames, both amenities are winterized and not included in your rate. If your reservation falls outside these dates and you would like to request use of these accommodations, please contact us and we will be happy to quote you an additional charge to make them available to you, if possible. Requests cannot be guaranteed. Please note that the pool heater will only operate if the ambient air temperature is above 55° F. It will not heat the pool if the air temperature is below this minimum threshold. Cooler air temperatures above 55° F may not provide sufficient heat to keep the pool water as warm as desired. Water temperature is dependent on several factors and is not guaranteed.
𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀: See rental agreement for full terms. Guests are required to provide a photo ID and sign our vacation rental agreement, which will be emailed after booking. A preview document is available, and all prospective guests are encouraged to review it prior to booking. Advertised rates are subject to change and are not guaranteed until payment is processed. This is a nonsmoking property. The maximum occupancy permitted on the property at any time is 15 people, including infants and children. The number and sizes of beds offered are meant to accommodate flexible sleeping arrangements and should not be taken as a representation of permitted occupancy. The minimum age to rent is 25 years at the time of occupancy. We don’t permit groups of high school, college, or other unrelated individuals under age 25, even with the promise of chaperones.
