Ranch-Hand Cabin Near Letchworth State Park

Stay at the beautiful Nunda Ranch in a remodeled ranch-hand cabin. Enjoy a quiet get away and spend time hiking, relaxing by a campfire, book a horseback ride with our ranch trail guide or visit Letchworth State Park. It’s primitive accommodations and is a great alternative to camping.
Our one-room cabin has a queen size bed, small table area to prepare food, two chairs, ottoman, and a small wood-burning stove in the corner. The bathroom is located in the ranch barn and is fully finished with shower, toilet, sink, hot and cold water.

Amazing stay!

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay this past weekend. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everyday needs. We were allowed to use the shower in the barn, which was a great surprise. Overall we were very satisfied with the location, cleanliness, and hospitality of the ranch staff. Highly recommend!!

The view was amazing, however, the cabin was very rustic—one step above tent camping. Floor littered with dead bugs, hanging dirty dishes. Basic bathroom accommodations quite a distance away. The horses were beautiful and trail-ride was great. The trail included a varied terrain. Loved the incorporation of yoga

No communication with VRBO owner to troubleshoot the issues: unable to turn on electricity and other

VRBO owner didn't respond to my texts or calls to troubleshoot the issues with venue: unable to turn on electricity and also to explain the sign on the bathroom door: out of order, sorry for the inconvenience. We didn't stay and had to go to motel nearby. Very sad experience

Peaceful getaway from the concrete jungle

What an amazing property! First off the process from booking to checkout was absolutely seamless, which we greatly appreciated. The area is beautiful and the perfect escape for us from the busy law firm and teaching university. The accomodations are back to basics which is exactly what we wanted, but with the comfort of hot showers and regular restrooms. I highly recommend booking the horseriding session, Ms. Jasmine was the sweetest and even showed us one of her barrel runs! How cool!! Taylor really cares about her property and it shows, and Josh was always ready to answer any questions. Super close to Letchworth and small towns nearby, we can't wait to come back!

Fun Days at the Nunda Ranch!

My husband and I loved our stay in the cozy ranch-hand cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for to unwind and "unplug," and was a great jumping off point for hiking at Letchworth and Stony Brook State Parks, and kayaking on and exploring the Western Finger Lakes. At the ranch, we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, horseback riding with the courteous staff, and perfect views of the Perseid meteor showers. The solar panels worked well and provided more power than we needed each day. The bathroom is a 500 to 600-foot walk (nearly 1/4 mile round trip) that goes through the horse barn, and it is shared with the ranch's business. It was fine for us - like having a site farthest from the restrooms in a campground - but it's something you should know before you go.

Upon arriving, no one available to tell us where to go or anything. Didn’t receive an email prior either so we wandered around for 30 minutes until we found someone. The cabin clearly had not been swept and there were dead bugs on the window sill. The bathroom is quite a trek from the cabin which they should mention plus it was NOT clean and it’s shared with the public. Another fact they should share. The toilet and sink obviously hadn’t been cleaned and after the shower, you’re expected to step onto dirty cement. Unsure why I’m paying a high cleaning fee for dirty facilities. I love camping but that’s not what I signed up for here and I feel quite misled honestly. And the bed? Safe to say we didn’t sleep well since it has a major dip in the middle and every time you roll over, you get stuck in the middle. Truly disappointing.

Perfect for a getaway
