Modern Spanish Casita in Avila Beach

No need to settle for a hotel room when Casita Grande can be yours. This beautiful modern Spanish luxury casita will provide the perfect vacation for a quiet get away or a fun packed adventure.

Casita Grande is at street level. The casita is open living with open Avila Beach window views. One large room hosts the comfy living room with SmartTV, sleeping area with king bed with fluffy white linens, and essential kitchenette (microwave and refrigerators).

Wine tasting, biking and hiking trails, beach fun, excellent restaurants and coffee shops are all within just minutes of walking. Day excursions to Hearst Castle or Big Sur are very doable, and will expose you to some of California's most stunning cliffs and secret beaches. Morro Bay, Cambria and San Simeon (where the elephant seals live) are all fun to explore.

It's just south of San Luis Obispo (SLO was voted one of the top 5 happiest cities) and nearby dozens of award winning wineries. SLO has the largest farmers market in California every Thursday night of the year, and Avila Beach has a lovely farmers market with live-music each Friday night of the summer. Great shopping is all around as well as yummy seafood and all types of restaurants for every taste. If you like antiques, Arroyo Grande will delight you.

Kayaking has your interest? There is kayaking adventures in Avila Beach or Shell Beach. Avila Beach is a calm paddle in a protected bay. Shell Beach is a thrill as you paddle through caves and along the cliffs. Or, you may want to hike up Bishop's Peak or go whale watching, or deep sea fishing out of Morro Bay or San Luis Bay (near Avila Beach). Several public golf courses are nearby including Avila Beach Golf Resort within walking distance.

Or, you may want to just grab the beach chairs and walk down to the beach and read a good book. The options are really endless.

All of your basic soaps and linens are provided. The casita has a kitchenette (microwave, coffee maker and wine refrigerator). Take a break from kitchen duty and walk to fine or casual dining options in Avila Beach.

He loved being able to walk to the beach in a short 3 minutes. The bed was very comphy and having the couch to sit on made it easy to be comfortable when not sleeping.

Nice to have a separate sitting area. Property managers attentive and responsive. Terry and Kathleen made sure our packages were delivered and waiting upon arrival and we also were notified an early check in time was available. The only thing missing was a freezer. Suggest replacing the wine storage with a freezer. Great stay!

Cozy Casita Close With a View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One cannot help but relax while staying at the Casita in Avila Beach. The kitchenette is set up with coffee maker, microwave, small refrigerator and wine fridge. It’s the perfect set up for those who would rather eat meals out than cook. It is only a couple of blocks from the beautiful downtown area and gorgeous beach. From the front windows of the Casita there is a view of the ocean and at night the soothing sounds of waves crashing in on the surf become a lullaby.The Casita exterior is beautiful and the interior is modern and very clean. The walk in closet is very large and the spacious and beautifully tiled bathroom feels like Spain.This is a little gem and I’m so glad we found it for our much needed vacation and rest from our normally busy lives.

Home was clean; however, amenities were not what we are used to when renting. Would not be good for long term stay. No place to cook and no ice. No washer/dryer. Minimal kitchen. Also, they allotted your toilet paper usage! And, no kleenex.
