Comfortable Mountain Home with Access to Private Dock on Lake Burton

There is dock. access for canoes, kayaks, swimming etc as it states in the description. I am sorry we could not let a power boat dock there but our neighbors boats have gotten damaged in the past. There are two marinas close by where you can leave a boat however. Great guest and we hope we can host them again.

Deborah contacted me a day or two before she was supposed to arrive wanting to cancel. She asked me if I had gotten cancellation insurance. I told her that is something she could have gotten but I would have no knowledge about that. She called again and said she had a bad medical problem and again asked how she could find out about cancellation insurance. I referred her back to VRBO. Shortly after that, she contacted me and asked if pets were allowed. The policy clearly says no pets, but it seemed she may be going through hard times, so we asked about the type and number of pets. She said one small dog that was trained so we said we would allow the exception, but she had to accept responsibility for any damages. During her stay we heard nothing about any area of the house that was not clean. She had my phone number and there is an excellent 24/7 property manager on call. The house is professionally cleaned before every new guest arrives and is then inspected after the cleaning. If, for any reasons, a guest is not satisfied and calls we would immediately take care of the problem. There were no complaints from Deborah when she was in the house. As you can see from other reviews the house is always very clean. Everything seemed fine, we had heard nothing from her, we gave her a good review, and after our review, she gave us her bad review. We can provide documentation of all our correspondence with Deborah for any future guests who may have a concern. The house is professionally cleaned for every new guest and we are always available to resolve any problem ASAP if need be. The comfort and satisfaction of our guests is the utmost importance to us.
