This unassuming condo boasts a wonderful large balcony which is a most tranquil place for morning coffee. The location is superb and The Hangout, along with several restaurants are a short stroll away.

Excellent location!

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect! We were so close to lots of restaurants and within a few steps of the beach! The condo was really nice and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was beautiful! We would definitely stay here again!

A Room with a View in Gulf Shores

We spent three nights in this wonderful property! We especially enjoyed the view of the ocean and the balcony. We also found the living room to be nice and cozy. Highly recommend!

Great Location!

Overall we had a great vacation. The condo itself could use a little sprucing up. There was mold on the air vents. It smelled a little old when we got there. Great location to the beach and attractions.

Perfect beach getaway!

My mom, daughter, and I went on a quick 4 day beach getaway trip before school starts and our stay was great! Condo is clean, well-stocked, very convenient to groceries and fun activities, and easy access to the pool and beach. We wouldn’t have minded a boardwalk to the beach to make transporting our chairs, umbrella, etc a little easier, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. We will definitely look at staying there again!

Beautiful Beach Views

The unit was spacious and comfortable for my family of 6. It is so convenient to walk down one flight of stairs and basically be on the sand, no roads or parking lots to cross. There are plenty of dishes and pans to make your meals and the unit is in easy walking distance to several restaurants and ice cream places. We were a little disappointed that the pool was colder than the Ocean (April) and there was no hot tub even though the listing said there was. Overall though a great place to stay. The balcony was gorgeous with the perfect view of a palm tree and the ocean. We would stay there again!

Terrific stay

There's not much that could have made our stay here better..... wait, I'm wrong. If we could have stayed longer, it would have been perfect! Communication with the owner was easy and prompt regarding the wifi. We were in Gulf Shores for an event and it was an easy 8 minute walk to the Hangout, where much of the event was held. I was a bit surprised at no beach towels or coffee supplies provided, but there was complimentary laundry detergent, which came in handy. Great unit in which to relax, do a little work and enjoy that white, sugar sand beach.

Great location, great views

We planned a girls trip for five of us. It was the best time. With in walking distance to many things. The beach was beautiful, clean area, and quiet dispute being by two larger units. Although, we did discover the door wouldn’t catch the lock when pulled to close. We didn’t realize until the second to last day. Nothing was missing but we figured it was probably a little late to let someone know. Thanks for the great stay. We had a blast.

Unit needs attention

Great location, close to beach, restaurants etc. Unit needs a lot of attention to cleanliness, hidebed very poor, needs to be propped up to sleep in. Bathroom drain plugged, tv in master won’t work, front door is very loose, keypad numbers wore off

Perfect view and location

With a family of 2 younger children, this was the perfect location overlooking the beach. The pool was relaxing and the beach is right outside the door!

nice place to stay

the property was clean and right on the beach, comfortable beds the bathtub in one of the bathrooms is a little worn, other bathroom has updated beautiful shower. The only things that would make the place perfect would be a walkway to beach for those who may need that, and washer and dryer in the room instead of shared laundry,

We purchased Southern Sands on our trip to the beach the weekend we became engaged. My wife moved from Mobile to Demopolis then we moved to MS. In a few years when we retire we will be relocation permanently to the Gulf Shore/Orange Beach area

We love Southern Sands first floor view of the beach and the beautiful Gulf waters. We are close to the Pink Pony, The Hangout, Bahama Bobs and much more! We love the low density and the beach is not crowded like some to the larger complexes.

Southern Sands is walking distance to the Pink Pony, and many other places in Gulf Shores. We have the best view and we are right on the beach!!
