Cocoa Beach is not your typical "beach town". People travel from all over the world for our beautiful location, history, beaches and attractions. We are located along Florida's Space Coast which makes for an "out-of-this-world" family vacation. Your family can ride some waves, soak up the sun, watch a diverse culture of sea life, kayak, jet ski, deep sea fish, check out Cocoa Beach's world-famous pier, go scuba diving in the beautiful Atlantic, visit the worlds largest surf shop Ron Jon's, hike through nature preserves and explore mankind's greatest journey at the nearby Kennedy Space Center, and if your timing is right, you may even view a rocket launch. A must see location is historic Cocoa Village. Cocoa Village is a revitalized, nostalgic riverside community with more than 50 shops, restaurants, galleries and artist studios. Also, Cocoa Beach is only an hour’s drive east of Orlando, making it a great day trip for theme park and attraction visitors.
