Location, location, location - this place truly can’t be beat. Being able to walk right into Hanalei for food, coffee, shopping, and the beach made our trip so much more relaxed and enjoyable.The check-in process was extremely clear and straightforward, which made arriving after a long travel day a breeze. The home itself was spotless - very clean, well-kept, and exactly as described.We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book again!

The house was clean and well equipped. The kitchen had all that we needed and was well laid out - overlooking the family and dining areas. The laundry area was convenient and a big plus. The bedrooms were comfortable and each had their own bathrooms which was very helpful.The cottage has easy access to the beach and town. It's probably more than a three minute walk, but it's still a short walk to either.We made an initial stop at Target to buy some supplies - bath soap, shampoo, coffee, cream, etc. It was good to get that out of the way because Hanalei Bay is a small town.

Fabulous Stay!

Appreciated all of the details to make this stay homey and comfortable. Spacious and well appointed cottage, super comfortable for my husband and I and our adult daughter. A short walk to both town and the beach. The property manager was easily reachable when we needed to track down a beach umbrella and extra chair. Beautiful spot, peaceful and picturesque.

Wonderful spot in Hanalie

This is a lovely, two bedroom two bath cottage tucked into a tidy neighborhood just three blocks away from town and two blocks to the beach. The kitchen was well outfitted and the furniture was comfortable. There was plenty of beach toys, snorkel gear, chairs, and towels.

Perfect Hanalei Cottage

We had a wonderful stay! Comfortable, clean, well stocked and an amazing location. All items in working order. Clear instructions to ensure an enjoyable stay. Easy walk to the beach and to Hanalei. Beach chairs, towels and umbrella provided. We highly recommend. Looking forward to our next visit.

Hanalei heaven

This was our 5th time to Hanalei and first time at Ilena’s cottage. It was a perfect location and perfect size for 2 adult couples. The kitchen was well-equipped making meals at the cottage easy. Will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Hanalei Cottage

This was our second time to Kauai and our first time staying at the cottage. Absolutely fabulous! Walking distance to town and beach. Very clean, well stocked kitchen as well as beach chairs, umbrella, towels, etc. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch eating breakfast and drinking our morning coffee. The grounds were lovely as was the interior decor. We definitely recommend to others and we hope to be back soon!

What a wonderful place! Plenty of room for my family of 4… fully stocked kitchen, front door to beach is a 7 minute walk, clean, great shower, comfy beds. Book it while you can!

We loved this little house. GREAT location and so cute. Everything was clean and the owner and property manager were super responsive. The beds were comfortable, the property was quiet, the house was well stocked and just two blocks from town. Super cozy, wished we had a lot longer to stay...

Hanalei Escape

Great location and very well kept property. Walking distance to the beach and lots or places to eat or shop. Barely used our rental car after getting into a routine of early morning surf and exploring Hanalei during the day.
