Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Disappointed

The place was clean with the exception of the stained sheets which housekeeping promptly changed for us but the bedroom is right by the garage and it is loud! People blast their music and car alarms all day and night. The view was beautiful but sadly we could not enjoy the balcony or even the family room because the smoking policy was not enforced and every time we opened the door the smell of mariuana hit us. We did not utilize the lazy pools as there were kids in both all the time-would be nice to designate an adult one separate from kids. Our next to the last day at 9:30 in the morning a pest control person came ( which I knew nothing of as front desk ne er communicated that with us ) and I asked if he could come back as my other guest was just getting out of the shower and he seemed inconvenienced. Location is great if one desires to be able to walk to the boardwalk and if the smoking policy would be enforced the view would have been great. If one is looking for some quiet time this is not the place to be.

Our room was clean however the hotel itself needs a lot of improvements. We had run the water in our room five minutes before we could get any hot water. Online the hotel shows they have a Dunkin Donuts in the hotel however they didn’t have one there anymore. Will probably not book here again.

Great place to stay and wonderful location

The rooms were clean, and so was the hotel. The kitchen was large enough to maneuver and clean. We loved being next to Bummz, and across the street from the Cafe. With the little Beach shop just across the street as well - it was a good experience. I do wish they had some designated smoking areas - but that I guess is what the world is coming to.

Not what we expected

The floors of the condo were filthy and the sheets on one of our beds had hair and dirt on them. My three year old was running around barefoot for a few minutes while we got ready for bed on our first night. When I picked him up to put on his pj’s the soles of his feet were black with dirt so dark it looked like soot. We asked for a cleaning and it was promised but it never happened. If we had any other choice we would have left the first night. We did get a new set of sheets to change the bed with but the new blanket had old crusty dried up stains on it as well.

Affordable, last minute, FINE overall

Room was relatively clean. The beds were not comfortable, but fine to sleep in especially after all day at the beach/pool. The hot water in the shower was hit or miss. And make sure you double check the vehicle policy because they won’t budge. Customer service overall was not great so I’m glad we didn’t stay long enough to report any actual issues. Again, overall, it was perfectly fine but we won’t stay here again.

Love it here

My family have been staying at the Camelot since 2014! We have never had an issue. Anytime anyone ask us where to stay in Myrtle Beach we always tell them to stay here! Not only because it’s a great experience but it’s also across the street from the most amazing breakfast/lunch spot called lulu’s I wouldn’t stay anywhere else 100% satisfied

Cleanliness

The room was overall clean with the exception of the floors and they needed to be swept and mopped. We didn’t complain while we were there because that than that it was a nice room.
