***Prime July dates just available*** Scandi wilderness home ready for you and family to recharge safely. Pure hygge in bucolic Barnes, Wis, in the Northwoods. Work/study (fast WiFi) in this unique, modern immaculate cabin.

This 1,600 square foot has three bedrooms, two baths and a combined great room for dining, lounging and cooking.

Winter and spring, Barnes is central for immersing in miles of ski and fat tire (Birkie) trails. Running/walking the rolling empty country roads. Summer brings access to the pristine Eau Claire chain of lakes for swimming and all water sports.

I'm Peter. We built this cabin in 2018 as a family place for us to have a bright modern space to relax, hit the water and the extensive bike and skiing trails in the Barnes, Cable and Hayward area. The outdoors are a big draw....and the house is laid out for socializing or getting some quiet time with a book or work. Toasty in winter and cool in summer. We love old school knotty pine cabins - this isn't one though. We can't use the house all the time so we've been hosting families looking to relax...and active sporty types...for three years. We're looking to spread the good word on Vrbo.

Fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances – just bring your groceries! We have all your utensils and gadgets covered -- from Breville water kettle for teas to hand blender for fall soups to Le Creuset Dutch oven for stews.

Gather round the large kitchen island to prep food and serve meals in our screened-in porch, or on the reclaimed pine table.

A new propane Weber is ready for all your grilling needs as well.

Fiber-optic cable delivers super reliable WiFi for home working and studying and Netflix streaming… we have multi desk set-ups. Perfect for those Zoom meetings and classrooms.

In-floor radiant heat throughout, A/C, Jotl wood-burning stove and heated two-car attached garage. Washer/dryer, free WiFi one canoe, three kayaks, life jackets, two piers.

Bedroom 1 — master suite with king size bed, large walk-in shower with rainfall shower head, double sinks
