Family friendly beachfront escape

Relax and spend time with family on this beautiful beachfront home! Originally built in 1890, this newly renovated bungalow boasts an expansive private stretch of beach on the peaceful shores of Long Island Sound. Enjoy the views from the spacious wrap around porch, or explore the calm waters on kayaks and paddle boards! Or just simply sit on the beach with your toes in the sand, basking in the sun, or play yard games with friends and family on the well manicured large lawn or on the beach. A family favorite is taking a beach walk along the waters edge collecting sea shells, or bring fishing rods to fish while sitting on the beach. There are plenty of different ways to relax and create memories with loved ones!
After a day in the sun, sand and water, rinse off in the brand new outdoor shower, or in one of the recently renovated indoor showers.
Prepping meals is a breeze in the beautiful chefs kitchen. Enjoy breakfast on the covered porch watching the sun rise with seating for 12 at the outdoor dining table, as well as 2 additional sitting areas.
Be sure to enjoy backyard bbq’s and dinners al fresco on the beach deck soaking in the beautiful colors of the sunset sky, and s’mores by the fire pit as you watch the moon rise over the glistening water. For an amazing view of the sunset, take a leisurely walk or 10 min bike ride down to Beach Park.
If you’re looking for a break from cooking, take a family bike ride over to Lenny and Joe’s for lobster and seafood, Leon’s for pizza, or haywire for burgers. The authentic Lobster Landing is a short drive away, which is a must visit when in Clinton! There are a multitude of wonderful restaurants in the area, including in neighboring Madison and Westbrook, with outdoor dining waterside (a list of local eateries will be provided).
But chances are you won’t want to stray far from this cozy bungalow!

Loved this house!! Our family had a beautiful and relaxing time filled with many memories. The house didn’t lack anything. The covered porch was perfect on days that the weather didn’t cooperate and the water views were amazing. Thank you so much to our host’s for a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful home situated on an even better location! The house was well stocked and communication with the owners was great. We had a wonderful family vacation with tons of time outdoors. There were so many wonderful places to sit and enjoy the ocean that it was hard to pick. We had wonderful family dinners on the porch and coffee on the couch in the morning listening to the waves.

One of the best in the area

What's better than a house on a beach that is beautifully appointed? One that has multiple communal areas to gather for your family. This home had a wonderful dining table off of the kitchen, a lovely seating area in the family room, a gorgeous sectional and dining table on the covered porch and then a 3rd dining table and seating areas on the sea wall with a fire pit. A+ rating for family gathering, for sure! My 4 kids are starting to go in different directions (ages 11-18) and they decided to stay together in the upstairs bunk room. Excellent memories made for sure! Thanks for opening your home to us!

So relaxing

My sister and I came back for a week for the second year in a row. The house is gorgeous - amenities are up-to-date and the kitchen is wonderful. Plenty of seating for big groups both inside, on the fantastic porch, or beachside. We really enjoyed the lounge chairs at water's edge. Plenty of games are provided in case of bad weather, and the kayaks and SUP are fun to use too. We will definitely come back again if we vacation in Clinton again!

A Perfect Vacation!

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The upscale home is amazing and contains everything you could possibly need, the location is ideal and the host was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. By far one of the best homes we've vacationed at and will definitely book this location again. Five stars hands down!

Beautifully appointed house with all the amenities!

My sister and I rented for a week and enjoyed every minute of it! The kitchen was beautifully appointed with high-end appliances, inspiring me to cook. Guest rooms were comfortable and there were so many lounging spaces from which to choose. Our favorite place was the water-front lounge chairs and table, but the covered porch provided a lovely area where you could sit and stare at the water as well. We are definitely hoping for a return trip!

Amazing home and view! Our host, Gina, was very quick to respond to any questions I had and also sent some great recommendations for the area as well. The home was nicely decorated, very comfortable and well stocked with anything you would need. Would highly recommend this beautiful beachfront cottage!

AMAZING - everything you want in a CT beach rental

10/10 VRBO rental! Everything from host communication, to cleanliness, to property setup, to amenities, to location right on the sand are ideal for a family beach getaway. The house is beautiful inside and out and provides perfect accommodations for families. It fit our group of 9 (6 adults, 3 kids) very well. We had great communal spaces indoors and outdoors that were large enough to enjoy each other’s company and also had enough space to spread out between the house, porch, yard, seaside patio, and beach. The house is updated and clean has everything you need for your stay in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, dining area, and living area. The wraparound porch is what beach house dreams are made of with a massive table, ceiling fans with lights, and a couch. The lawn is beautifully manicured and great for kids to play and for games. The seaside patio is awesome, also with a massive table and umbrella to provide shade, 4 loungers, and Adirondack chairs. The beach is private, has soft sand, is more than big enough to have the whole family there relaxing/having fun. To top it off, the swimming area had soft sand and wasn’t rocky. I cannot say enough positive things about this place! It was even loaded with yard/beach games, beach gear, water sports toys and equipments for kids and adults alike. I’ve been renting beach houses on the CT shore for a long time and this is best one I’ve ever rented!

Your Dream Get Away

This VRBO Home is exceptional! Clean and decorated beautifully on an amazing private beach. They provided soooooo many things that you would need it was amazing! The kitchen was stocked with every gadget you would need and the appliances were top notch! Cooking on that stove was a joy. Many fun beach toys and games for the kids were thoroughly enjoyed. Perfect CT beach property !

This property was fabulous! Directly on a private beach with everything needed for our family to enjoy time in the water or relaxing in the sun. The home itself is gorgeous, from the wrap around porch to the beautifully decorated interior and high end kitchen! The owner was attentive before and during our stay and went over and above to make sure my family had everything we needed, to minimize our packing. Perfect home, perfect setting! A true gem!

Amazing spot for a family vacation!!

We stayed at this property in July 2021 and have nothing but great things to say about our experience. The house comfortably fit 2 couples, 2 babies and grandma! The pictures honestly don't do the house justice, we could have sat on that deck all summer! The view out back is absolutely incredible. The beach access is amazing for children - no need to pack up and spend the whole day at the beach! There's also paddle boards and kayaks on site available for use. The lounge area by the water felt like a resort, it was amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need. The host, Gina, was in contact throughout and incredibly thoughtful. We had such a good time and would love to book again in the future! Highly recommend!! As a heads up our only complaint was the mosquitoes, but that's to be expected - bring plenty of bug spray if you plan on staying outside after the sun goes down.

The host beach bungalow is beautiful, so comfortable and so enjoyable for our family vacation.

So easy to work with the host, answered all our questions and the whole experience was Great. This allowed us to have a stress free vacation and we all just relaxed and enjoyed one another at their beautiful Beach Bungalow.

The ultimate private beach house!

This property was gorgeous! The house and grounds were well maintained and generously stocked with everything you could possibly need. The yard and private beach were the best part of it, beautiful and secluded. The kayaks and paddle boards were so much fun! Even the neighbor was so friendly! The owner communicated greatly with us throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this rental for the ultimate family vacation! Fyi not many restaurants deliver in this area mostly pick up.
