We had an amazing week-long trip to Villa Eloah for my wife’s birthday! Easily accommodated two families plus extra adults. The property is very kid friendly and the kids loved the pool, yard, putting green and fruit trees. The hosts were highly responsive and available whenever we needed, which was not often due to how well the accommodations were prepared. Beautiful views of the ocean from the multiple patios, and a relaxing courtyard with fire pit. Thank you again for a great vacation!

Truly Memorable Stay

We stayed at Villa Eloah for 5 nights in September as a group of 8 women celebrating a 40th birthday party. Guitel's villa was incredible - even better then the listing photos. We took a chance and booked the Villa before it had any prior reviews and feel like we got incredibly lucky. I probably bothered Guitel too much throughout our stay with questions on beaches and restaurant recommendations, but she replied immediately every time. The villa was perfect for a milestone celebration - each guest commented how comfy the beds were, each of us had enough of our own space, and there were so many little areas of the house to hang out and commune. The location is in a perfectly peaceful neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk to the cliffs (which we tried to do each night for sunset!). The town of Carvoeiro was a $4 Uber ride away (Etxea is a MUST try!). Thank you for a stay we will always cherish!

It seems that the villa was indeed very popular with the 500 people who paid admission for a huge party that lasted from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. at the end of the Afro Nation Festival in Portimao!!! Despite the ban specified in the advertisement, renewed by message, and stipulated in the contract signed by this person, he organized a "Project X" party in the villa. He himself boasted, with supporting images, on his own social media videos of having gathered more than 500 people despite the ban and without any insurance!! We received numerous complaints from neighbors as well as our contractors. The cleaning team took more than 30 hours to restore the villa to a "proper" condition, and the damages on the marble floor are still to be repaired The gardeners complained of finding bottles of alcohol, canisters of laughing gas, and bags of "illicit products" in the garden. Several decorative items and furniture were damaged, broken, or stolen. Tiles were broken on the roof terraces while some people, including the tenant himself, climbed onto them to film themselves. The damage is considerable and more than justifies the deduction of the deposit, which would only cover a portion of it. Taking his dishonesty to its logical conclusion, the tenant blocked the card on which he had registered the deposit. We are therefore considering taking legal action against him.

Wunderschöne Villa in Carvoeiro
