Perfect for Us and the Grandkids

Great location!

Excellent place to stay in Tavares. Close to everything and such a quiet, nice community. Quick response from Pam, and just nice people! We will stay there again!

First month of retirement

Cute little place and fantastic having our boat right out the back door. Had some comms issues with our host(s), but they indicated it was a VRBO issue and when we did connect, they were really quick to respond.Loved Mt. Dora, such a cute town, and lots of easy access to shopping in Eustis and Leesburg

Good Experience

House was nicely decorated and clean. Beautiful view out the back. It was great to keep boat at dock. Dora Canal was beautiful and easy to navigate. Neighbors were very friendly. Overall a good experience.

Fishing Tournament

My family and I were in town for a College Fishing Tournament that our Son was fishing in. The house was a perfect location and a perfect fit for our family. Pam was very easy to reach with any questions we had and the property was exactly as listed. If we are ever in the area again we will book this home again.

Very nice accommodations. Was perfect for our two day fishing trip.

Everything was great! Very clean, and the accessories were very accommodating. It was perfect for 3 men looking to share an enjoyable fishing trip together. Community was very quiet and the canal allowed for relaxing fishing in the evenings after fishing the lakes all day. One toilet seat was in need of repair when we arrived, but I’m sure the owner will have that repaired soon. We agreed our future fishing trips will be planned around the availability of this rental. Thank you

Clean, comfortable, well appointed

We were comfortable for our stay. The house was very clean and well appointed. We appreciated supplies on hand: laundry, dishwashing & dishwasher detergents; basic kitchen spices plus fresh baked goods. The owner/manager was very responsive to questions. I suggest sharing with your listing that this is a renovated mobile home and it does have steps up and down to different areas: laundry & bathroom, screen porch and entry tv/sunroom. The hallway to the bedrooms is quite narrow. The neighborhood is quiet, nice enough, but a mix of mobile and stick built homes. We enjoyed watching the occasional gator swim by in the canal out back. Thank you for sharing your home.

Family weekend

What a lovely place. The boat dock out back was perfect and the boat ride to mt Dora craft fair was relaxing and the sunset gorgeous! My kids met us there and we shared a beautiful weekend together

Quiet community with easy lake access. Loved having our boat right outside for the long weekend. Spacious and pet friendly was a plus.

Great getaway on the water

This house was great for a trip with our boat and our dog. Location was close to the boat ramp, Dora Canal, and local restaurants. Kitchen had plenty of dishes/cookware and bathrooms were stocked with towels. Loved the fenced in dog run for our dog and the ability to dock our boat at the house. Pam was super helpful when we had a question. Would definitely come back!

Waterfront relaxation

Very nice design. Lots of room for many more than we had. Close to shopping area. Lots of birds to watch and a few small gators come into the channel 😀

Family vacation

We loved your home we have been coming to Florida for the last three years this was by far the cleanest and accommodated all six of us. We will definitely book again, very peaceful and quiet neighborhood.

Don't Fall, they have cameras

Slippery rugs, lots of up and down throughout the house. Placement of the fan and bedroom door hit each other continuously. Be cautious of the hot water, you'll have to continuously turn it down as it constantly gets hotter. They have cameras to watch you during your stay. Few cleaning supplies. No pontoon boat, no where in sight, also it was an additional fee that we were unaware of. Hopefully they update the listing and fix the issues after this experience. Because it was a cute, clean house.

Fantastic rental

I was absolutely thrilled with the stay! Jim & Pam responded to any questions very quickly and the property was exceptionally clean and updated. The pictures don't do it justice and the people in the community were some of the friendliest folks I've encountered. I will be booking this rental again.
