Looking for a private, rustic luxury guest experience? Look no further Whiskey Rock Cabin is your ultimate getaway. This tucked away cabin that sits on 10 acres of PA Wilds is set in the middle of 16,000 acres of PA State Gamelands #51. Hike, hunt or explore directly from the cabin--just be sure to leave with a map and compass as you embark on any excursion. When you return, enjoy the sunset on the oversized covered patio on the front or large side patio with picnic table, hot tub and outdoor seating. Inside the cabin has all the luxury that you want for a cozy getaway. Enjoy the floor to ceiling gas fireplace, in-floor heat, Flat Screen TV and Satellite Internet (DATA rules apply).

**IMPORTANT CONNECTIVITY INFORMATION**

• Cell phone service (all major carriers) is almost non-existent at the property; however, Wi-Fi Internet is available.

• Internet is a data use based plan which is only intended for light browsing (searching for local attractions, booking reservations, checking/sending email, contacting TLVR representatives...etc.).

• No video or audio streaming is allowed by guests, which consumes data quickly.

• For those who need to work or do school work while staying at Whiskey Rock Cabin, we offer the option to purchase GB's of data. Ask our sales team for more details.

Please note this cabin sits at approximately 2900 feet elevation. Guests MUST have AWD/4WD to stay here from November 1-March 31. Guests that fail to abide by this advice will get stuck and be disappointed.

Security:

For the safety or our guests and the protection of the property against criminal activity, all guests understand that, at a minimum, there is a “Blink” security camera type located at the front and rear entrance of the cabin to monitor access/egress and driveway areas. Security cameras are in use 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Guests should not remove, disturb, modify or damage any part of the onsite security system. IF this occurs it will result in the loss of security deposit or added charges, which ever applies.

Beautiful property and clean and well stocked. Close to Ohiopyle which was helpful. Just note that there is minimal cell phone signal and so it made checking in tough and lost signal to the directions to the house. Print out all directions ahead of time.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin! A good note on the cell reception - we do ask that guests make sure they are able to pull up the home access info before arriving to the property as service is very limited. Printing directions is also a good idea!

The cabin and location were excellent. Everything you need is in the cabin and all finishing are high end and beautiful. The private location is perfect for enjoying the rocking chairs on the front porch, relaxing in the hot tub or around the fire pit. Also, very close to Ohiopyle State Park for those who want to enjoy the Great Allegheny Passage! We will definilety be back!

We loved this place. Perfect for our anniversary get away. Nice finishes, private, and very quiet. Hot tub is right outside the patio doors. Not far from Ohiopyle. You pass a Frank Lloyd Wright home on the way. Exactly what we were looking for.

Great place to get away

Great place. Exactly what we were looking for. The loft was great for my two kids. Was close to Ohiopyle, which was great. If you have Verizon, don’t plan on having a phone signal but that didn’t matter to us.

Lovely cabin, absolutely perfect location for all things Ohiopyle. Well done modern clean interior and appliances. Ample space on the property. Beds are very soft and worn out but are otherwise nicely decorated. Check out instructions are also not clear. The ones posted in the house differ from the packet you get when booking. Double check your arrival instructions with the host if you book. Ours had the wrong access code for the cabin and the wrong internet password so when we arrived we couldn't get in and also had trouble getting a hold of the local contact for help as there is limited cell service. Big thanks to Travis for getting us in and connected.Despite being "pet friendly" I wouldn't recommend brining one as they will charge you an extra 130 regardless of all else for extra cleaning

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin! For check-in / check-out instructions, we send out an FAQ Link for guests which is what should be followed. The house codes, instructions, etc. are always up to date there. As for pets, we encourage our guests to bring theirs! We also ask that they clean up after them. The excess of dog hair found after your stay required a deep cleaning from the housekeeper, hence the charge.

Romantic Retreat

Enjoyed our stay at Whiskey Rock

We did enjoy our weekend stay at Whiskey Rock. Everything about the cabin matched the listing and found it to be clean and cozy. We had picked it due to the proximity to Ohiopyle where our son is currently living and it allowed him to visit rather easily I would recommend it to others!
