Jump into your car and make short work of the 24-minute drive to Parc Zoologique Cerza or the 24-minute drive to Deauville Saint-Gatien Golf Club (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime). Relax in the garden (enjoy the outdoor furniture!) or sip a drink in the spa tub of this 2153-sq-ft vacation home. For a change of scenery, come inside and try your hand at billiards, or enjoy the free WiFi, cable/satellite TV, and DVD player. This 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom rental features a dining area, a sofa bed, a BBQ grill, and a fireplace. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, towels, and toilet paper. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. ok the property was superb, the bedrooms and bathrooms were good the dinning room spaciouswhere it fell short was in having somewhere for 8 people to sit and relax, the TV area only had seating for 4 and the bar area was split in two by a large display case so sitting together in the evening was not possible. Again there was no comfortable garden seating to accommodate 8 guests a table and seating by the barbeque would have been welcome.the kitchen was small and the oven opened over the hob which made using the oven problematic.The pub had no sink no glasses and was cramped with all of the objects displayed.our over all impression was that there were to many objects with little space to relax as a party of 8. but a great house great location and we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay

We had a lovely week staying at the house. Very quiet & peaceful location, feel the house is even better even than the pictures on the site. We spent many hours sitting on the terrace taking in the lovely views.Fresh eggs most days from the chickens, house had everything we needed & had a real family home feel. Christophe was very helpful welcoming us to the house when we arrived.The village has a great restaurant, would certainly recommend a visit, as well as a trip to the zoo at Cerza, only about 20 min drive away & one of the best zoos we have visited.Overall a very relaxing break, thank you Christophe & your family.

Ein schöner Urlaub in ländlicher Umgebung

Wir waren für zwei Wochen vor Ort. Es hat uns sehr gefallen.Es ist eine ländliche Umgebung, es gibt einige Bauern aber wenig Verkehr. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut, und wir hatten keine Probleme. Die Hühner brachten fast jeden Tag zwei frische Eier hervor.Unten im Ort gibt es eine Bäckerei und ein Restaurant mit einem sehr freundlichen Wirt, und etwas weiter weg waren die bekannten Supermarktketten. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Natur und wir haben es sehr genossen.

Ein Traum, der in Erfüllung ging

Mitten in der malerischen Natur der Normandie liegt dieses wunderschöne, grosszügige Haus.Ein Ort zum Abschalten und die pure Natur und Ruhe zu geniessen. Das Haus ist komplett und liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt sogar über ein charmant eingerichtetes Pub.Für Einkäufe ist aber ein Auto empfehlenswert, dafür bietet das Refugium absolute Ruhe und Idylle.Ein wahrer Geheimtipp für alle , die Erholung abseits der Touristenpfade suchen.Ein sehr freundlicher und Hilfsbereiter Owner.

Un havre de paix idéalement situé en Normandie

C'est notre deuxième séjour au manoir de la Chouette, et toujours un plaisir. La maison est très bien équipée, les vues sur la campagne magnifiques, et disposer d'une salle de bains par chambre est très appréciable entre amis. Tout est impeccable, et le propriétaire très disponible pour toute question.

Great country location!

Enjoyed this quiet, peaceful location in the country. It was a great home base for sightseeing in Normandy. Home had everything we needed. The host was very responsive if we had questions.

Bonneville-la-Louvet

We spent a week here in September with family. Not sure the photo's do justice to the house itself, some of the photo's indicate that the place was a little dated, that was certainly not the case, it is truly lovely with stunning views down the valley, we used the hot tub a couple of times which was nice, if I'm honest we didn't quite get the temperature right but enjoyable nonetheless. Christophe could not have been more helpful and even drove 2 hours following a power cut to make sure everything was back on again, that is going above and beyond! We managed to get 5 eggs in a week from the 2 chickens who frequently parked themselves outside the front door in search of food, strangely they really like cheese sticks but didn't appreciate apple sauce. The Italian restaurant in the village is also a treasure to be explored, we ate there twice and the food was excellent both times. All in all a lovely house in a wonderful location.

Great gite, perfect countryside stay!

A wonderful stay in a quirky, beautiful traditional gite with a tower!! Set in lovely large grounds, on the side of a valley... The views were wonderful! We loved spending time on the deck in the evenings and at meal times, the countryside peace was fabulous. The gite has 4 great bedrooms and we had everything we could need. The walk down to the village provided great exercise!!! It's very hilly! WiFi is intermittent depending on where you are on the property but the mobile signal is generally quite good. The hot tub was great, it is a wood fire heated hot tub so it takes a while to heat up but once heated, it was relatively easy to keep warm for the duration of our stay. We loved looking after the chickens and enjoyed our 2 eggs!

Ein Ferienhaus in völliger Abgeschiedenheit - Natur, Landschaft, Stille pur. Die Ausstattung mit antikem Mobiliar ist in Ferienhäusern selten und schafft herrschaftliche Atmosphäre. Sehr angenehm! Kleinere Probleme wurden von Christoph und Isabell umgehend gelöst. Man sollte allerdings darauf hinweisen, dass der Whirlpool angeheizt werden muss, falls man ihn warm benutzen möchte (Aufheizzeit 3 h).

Merveilleux week-end dans un cadre splendide

Nous avons passé un week-end entre amis au Manoir de la Chouette, qui a été parfait du début à la fin. La maison est superbe, très spacieuse, avec une superbe vue sur le bocage normand. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil et la visite de Christophe pour nous partager certaines anecdotes sur les beaux objets qu'on y trouve, ainsi que les oeufs frais récupérés au poulailler le matin ! Il est facile de rayonner dans la région en voiture, Honfleur et Deauville sont à 30 minutes seulement. Nous serons heureux d'y séjourner de nouveau.

Eine wundervolle Woche in einem wirklich traumhaften Anwesen

Das Haus ist in jeder Hinsicht einzigartig. Die Realität übertrifft die Beschreibung: Liebevoll eingerichtet, vollständig ausgestattet und voller netter Details. Die Betten sind sehr angenehm (wenn auch etwas schmal für zwei Erwachsene). Das Grundstück ist groß und bietet einen tollen Blick über die Hügel der Normandie. Die zwei neugierigen Hühner in ihrer Voliere runden das Bild ab und liefern mit etwas Glück auch noch Beiträge zum Frühstück. Das einzige kleine Manko war vielleicht, das ausgedehnte Spaziergänge mit Hund direkt vom Haus aus nicht so gut möglich sind. Hier ist eine kurze Fahrt zumindest ins nächste Dorf empfehlenswert.

Quels charmes !!! Quel domaine !

Un week-end sublimé par les charmes du manoir de la chouette. Les photos étaient magnifiques, la réalité magique. Le pub, les chambres avec chacune son cachet, la cheminée, la salle à souper... Et les pianos :-) Le propriétaire ni trop, ni trop peu, comme on aime avec un beau sens de l'accueil. Nous reviendrons. Un grand merci, pour tout.

Parfait de bout en bout

Nous avons passé un week-end mémorable au manoir de la Chouette. Confort, équipements, charme authentique, propreté, remplacement au calme et amlgré tout proche d'Honfleur et Deauville : tous les ingrédients étaient réunis pour un séjour réussi. Nous garderons d'excellents souvenirs de cette fin novembre et espérons renouveler l'expérience dans ce lieu unique.

Tres beau hamoir lumineux et accueillant en pleine nature!

Nous avons passé 5 jours de vacances au hamoir en famille. Très bel endroit, agréable, très bien equipé et avec de l’espace. Propriétaire accueillant et bienveillant. Nous avons apprécié en particulier le séjour lumineux, le très beau piano, le Jacuzzi extérieur avec vue sur la nature, le feu ouvert, la déco insolite qui donne au lieu plein de cachet.
