Beautifully Decorated and Maintained

Loved staying here. My parents and wife and I all stayed here for about 4 days. The interior is very nicely decorated. The hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I would stay here again.

Amazing quick weekend trip!

We had a wonderful quick trip to the Fairhope area for a soccer tournament and could not have picked a better place to stay! Gorgeous home with every possible amenity in an amazing area. We will be back!

Quaint Fairhope

This house is in a great location. Within walking distance of the water and great restaurants. (Gambinos is a must if visiting). Very cozy and nicely decorated. Absolutely loved your honor bar- so nice to have a drink after traveling all day! Very comfortable.

Perfect setting

I rented this property for a weekend as I was attending a wedding in the area. It was perfect! Beautifully appointed and every traveler’s need seemed to be anticipated down to the “Honesty Bar”. I have stayed in many many short term rental properties but this ranks as one of my favs! Love to return just to enjoy the unit and this beautiful town!

Perfect Spot

This place couldn’t have been more perfect, and the owners were exceedingly helpful and communicative. The decor was beautiful and the place solidly built, not the chintzy look and quick-construction so ubiquitous among short term rentals. My husband and I held my Mom’s 80th birthday party here, and stayed with her and my aunt. It was just dreamy. So grateful.

Adorable abode

La Hibou Blanc was the perfect space for our girls getaway! The house is utterly charming and outfitted with everything you would need down to a champagne stopper! The neighbor is lovely and we enjoyed walking down to the American Legion Tiki Bar as well as taking the short stroll to a yummy dinner at Gambino’s. The weather allowed us to take advantage of the fire pit in the back and we even decided to order in our last night and just enjoy the house. Definitely recommend this darling rental and we will absolutely stay here again!

Love to enjoy sitting outside. This backyard was set up for that along with lights hanging around the parameter. Sitting area, hanging chairs, fire pit and a couple of bicycles. A tray of assorted mosquito sprays for your convenience as well. Very eclectic interior that looks freshly remodeled

Beautiful Location

My son & daughter in law & grandson had a great time at the house (I wish they could have stayed longer though!) The house was lovely & when I went over to visit, noticed house nicely the house was furnished (very nice kitchen & bath!) The only thing we would have said was the cleaning people should wait until after 11am. Other than that - it was great! Thank you, Robin

Enjoyed my stay!

I enjoyed my trip to Fairhope and the surrounding areas. All beautiful, and so friendly. I was there for an upcoming family reunion, about 60 miles away. The cottage was really pretty, and well-maintained. I felt safe, which was very important as I was traveling alone. The only things I had wished for was that the front door had a window shade for use during the evenings, and given I am only 5'4", the bathroom mirror was a little high for me. Thank you so much and I really enjoyed the cottage and my trip. Best, Brenda

I want to live here!

I simply can not say enough good things about La Hibou Blanc! My two best friends and I reserved the property for a girls' trip to celebrate our retirements, and it could not have been a more perfect weekend. Here are the highlights: 1. The hosts are lovely people who were very accommodating. Communication with them was easy and immediate, and I'm so grateful for their help. 2. The property itself is just lovely - high end furnishings, top of the line amenities, and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The hosts anticipated every need from ziploc bags to beach chairs. I felt like I was staying in a friend's home, as opposed to staying in a rental property. 3. Fairhope is the most incredible little town with beautiful views, friendly people, and delicious food. I've already told my husband that we're retiring there in a few years. 4. The location of the cottage was absolutely perfect. It's just a short walk to the bay and the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine. We were only a short drive to downtown Fairhope, so it was easy to get to all the shopping, restaurants, and live music the city had to offer. Since we were only a 55 minute drive from the beach, we drove in to Orange Beach and spent a day in the sand and sun. Thank you, Chris and Caroline, for a perfect girls' getaway. We'll be back!

Wonderful Attention to Detail!

This is our second time staying at the Hibou Blanc. We stayed in A in May 2022 and rented B for our June 2023 stay. Upon arriving, they have a personal note addressed to you and a bottle of champagne. In B, there is an honor bar and every single detail is curated for a wonderful guest stay. Drawers a labeled with contents, there are all the amenities available in the bathroom should you leave something, and everything is immaculate, clean, and screams luxury. If you have 5 friends, stay in B. There is a covered porch with bed swing where we stayed the entire time talking. In B, there is enough space for 3 to 4 comfortably if you double up in sleeping. We just had 3 and it was perfect. They have outside swings to lounge and a fire pit. I have never stayed at a place that had all the amenities that feels like a home away from home. With condos, you have to bring everything for cleaning supplies to trash bags. They have everything, along with laundry cleaning supplies. They have sound machines in the bedroom to block out any noise. The feel is a high end boutique hotel with all the amenities. We will be back next year! If you don’t book, you will be disappointed!

Beautiful and Comfortable!

This place was absolutely beautiful. It was decorated like a home, not a rental. The kitchen was so nice that we ended up passing on dinner out and made a charcuterie board on the butcher block! Quiet, comfortable, gorgeous, great location!
