Chalet: 3 bedroom cabin on Seneca lake wine trail

Chalet is a single-story 3 bedroom, cabin style, home located along the Seneca Lake wine trail on the west side of Seneca Lake... a stylish blend of modern cabin in a rural setting.

The cabin is an open floor plan with a spacious kitchen/living/dining room area. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and dinner ware and the living room is large with comfortable furniture to lounge on, along with a large screen tv and electric fireplace. The dining room seats 6 and has a set of patio doors that go out onto the back deck area where you'll find an outdoor gas grill and plenty of room to watch the sun set.

The Primary bedroom has a King bed and attached full bath with shower. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located at the opposite end of the cabin from the Primary bedroom, with another full bath in between. Bedroom 2 has a Full size log bed and Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed with windows looking out toward the lake.

The cabin has a spacious yard if you would like to bring yard games to enjoy. There is a concrete patio area with outdoor dining table as well as a connecting firepit area with Adirondack chairs, allowing you to enjoy evenings around a crackling fire.

Chalet is one of 3 cabins on a private road. Our other two sister cabins, Chateau and Castello, are located on the same driveway and if you have a large group, check with us about the possibility of renting all 3 together.

Excellent stay. The accommodations were perfect. Very clean and check in was very easy and communication with the host was great, although we had no issues to address. The cabin was decorated beautifully and felt very at home and cozy. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Gorgeous cabin with a view of Seneca lake. It was everything we needed for our stay. The location was key, we were a short drive from Watkins Glen to the south, Geneva to the north and Hammondsport to our west. We also found a cool little restaurant 3 minutes away called the Showboat. It was on the lake and had a cool vibe and good food. An overall very nice experience.

Overall a very nice property. Would recommend a few changes such as updated living room furniture. You sink into sofa making it difficult to get out of. The 2 chairs at the windows are not comfortable for extended seating to watch tv. Not enough comfortable seating for 6 adults. Beds were also not as easy to get out of as mattresses sunk into frame. No grilling utensils to use when grilling. Very minimal cooking pots and pans. We actually left a stove top griddle pan we purchased to make bacon. Positives: firepit area and chairs were great. Outdoor furniture on porch very nice. Property is centrally located to everything.

Thanks for staying! Typically our guests love the mattresses at this home, but everyone has various preferences including whether or not they enjoy a couch that is deep or one that sits higher. :) We do have a full set of cookware along with baking dishes to assist guests with making meal prep easy.

This property is just as pictured. Fantastic views, very clean and close to so many wineries and vineyards. Only a 2.20 drive to Niagra Falls. We enjoyed it all. I would highly recommend.

Quiet and Convenient

The Chalet cabin is located approximately half way between Geneva and Watkins Glen, and not far from Penn Yan which made exploring these places really convenient. We enjoyed the fire pit every night during our 5 night stay. The location is quiet and peaceful.

Birthday get away

The Chalet was amazing. The best property that we have stayed at at the Finger Lakes. We went up for my birthday and totally enjoyed the peace and quiet. Loved the layout and the view. Only thing I missed was a clock radio in the main bedroom. I am a early riser, so listening to the radio in the bedroom helps me wake up in the morning. Thank you for the bottle of wine, we enjoyed it Wednesday with dinner. We will be back. Thanks.

Wonderful Winter Weekend

We had a wonderful winter weekend at this beautiful vacation home. Everything went smoothly from booking to departure. The house has just about everything we needed. We spent Wild Card Sunday watching hours of football so another comfy couch (or a couple of cushy chairs) would have made it perfect. We're already talking about coming back!

We love sharing the beauty of the lakes, woods and vineyards of the FLX with our guests and are excited for you to come and be our guest at one of our vacation rental homes. We can't wait for you to get the full FLX experience...enjoying the water on one of the lakes, sipping wines from the many fantastic wineries in the area, trying craft beers from the breweries, or sampling the amazing foods from the eateries.
