Mazot Xel Ha

THE MAZOT - This beautiful wooden chalet can accommodate 4 people + Baby. Comprising two independent bedrooms, one on a mezzanine under a sloping roof with reduced height and a master suite on the garden level accessible only from the outside...no access from the inside. Covering an area of 65 m2 it has balcony terrace with sauna, WIFI , electric heating . Garden with long chairs and barbecue. Outdoor Spa open all year. It is available in all seasons to enjoy the pleasures of the mountains . This small wooden chalet was built there in 2005 and renoved in 2025, it is very well insulated and very comfortable located in a hamlet of 3 chalets. It offers complete equipment and quality. Not suitable for a family with young children due to the chalet's layout. Access to the master suite is via an external entrance. There is no access between the upper and lower levels of the chalet. We leave near the chalet, we are available in case of ;) We will be by your side if you wish to give you good advice during your stay, good restaurants , foot or mountain bike rides , local walk ... We are in a quiet and sunny to 5 minutes from the ski resort of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand You have ski bus traveling in station from the village of St Jean de Sixt (2km) In winter 1 november until 31 march, you need special car's winter equipment. Not recommended for children under 10 years old as the second bedroom has access only from the outside. In winter forecast chains in case.

super week-end cocooning

Chalet très cosy et bien chauffé. Les propriétaires, sur place, sont disponibles mais savent aussi se faire discrets. De nombreux équipements sont à disposition des voyageurs (extérieur et intérieur). L'utilisation du sauna et du jaccuzi est libre en respect des consignes données. Situé à 5min de La Clusaz.Je recommande ce petit chalet, parfait pour un couple d'ami ou une petite famille.

Une semaine en été à la montagne

Le chalet nous a super plu! Fonctionnel et bien équipé! Nous avons vécu quelques péripéties dues à notre vehicule et Julie, hotesse tres sympathique a été très prevenante et nous a proposé son aide à plusieurs reprises. Accueil au top et les infrastructures furent très appreciées. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Coralie et sa famille.

Le chalet est beau et confortable, magnifiquement décoré et équipé. Il est parfaitement situé et a une belle vue. Tout est pensé pour passer de bons moments : jacuzzi extérieur, cuisine bien équipée, sauna... Les hôtes sont sympathiques, accueillants, disponibles. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Parfait

Rien à dire, un peu gêné à l'arrivée par la proximité des autres chalets, mais qui au final ne nous a pas déranger durant le séjour. Le Wifi à revoir ! Surtout quand on travaille un peu comme nous... Et oui, même en vacances ! Encore merci pour votre acceuil. Sandra

Un superbe séjour

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans ce chalet parfaitement équipé. Il ne manque vraiment rien! Idéalement placé pour de magnifiques randonnées dans la région. Les enfants aussi ont adoré le chalet décoré avec goût. La communication avec Julie et son mari et l'accueil ont été très agréables. Nous recommandons!

Perfect Chalet for Alpine Getaway

We have just returned from a perfect week at La Mazot which has great views across the valley to the slopes of la Clusaz in the distance. We can not think of any significant critisicm of this place, from the host's welcome to the standard of the chalet. The photos do not do it justice as it is bigger than we expected with lots of little touches that make it a great choice to stay. I suspect we will visit again some day!

Un séjour parfait, logement confortable et chaleureux

Le mazot est parfaitement équipé pour les séjours hivernaux ou estivaux. Il est très fonctionnel et joliment décoré. L'emplacement est idéal, suffisamment proche du bourg pour profiter de toutes les commodités tout en étant au calme et proche de la forêt où l'on peut faire de belles randonnées. Une expérience tout à fait positive, aucun point négatif.

Chalet near Saint Jean de Sixt

Overall we were very satisfied with the chalet, and with its position. One small reservation would be to point out to older clients that getting up to the sleeping platform and into bed was somewhat hazardous. The foot of the bed was so close to the top of the steps that it was quite difficult to get round to either side of the bed, and that the very restricted head-height meant you frequently bumped your head when on the sleeping platform. Getting up in the night to go to the bathroom was a challenge! However the bed itself was very comfortable! One other disappointment was that the sofa-bed in the living room was very uncomfortable to sit on, and there was no room for other armchairs.

petit paradis en pleine nature

tout était parfait : Le chalet est trés bien équipé , confortable , décoré avec gout , un vrai petit cocon . Les propriétaires sont trés sympathiques , à l écoute tout en étant trés discret . L endroit est magnifique et se trouve à proximité de plusieurs sites à visiter . Nous regrettons qu une seule chose la semaine est passée beaucoup trop vite mais nous reviendrons . Excellent !!!!

My family had a wonderful week in the mazot. It was perfect for our needs, it was clean with everything we needed to be self sufficient for the whole week.The surrounding area is beautiful with a great sledging field across the road where the kids could play as we watched from the balcony. Julie was a wonderful and welcoming host, she was most accommodating and responded to many questions I had prior to our arrival. We would not hesitate to use again for a skiing trip to la clusaz! Thankyou Julie for a wonderful week.
