Located in the peaceful Ausable Acres community of Jay, NY, you are perfectly positioned for adventure: just 10 minutes from the legendary slopes of Whiteface Mountain, 20 minutes from Santa’s Workshop, and a scenic drive to the Olympic Village of Lake Placid.

Comfort & Amenities With 4 comfortable beds and 2.5 bathrooms (including a spa-like King retreat with a private balcony), the lodge comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

Guest Access & Safety Guests have full, private access to the home. Driveway parking is ample (please note the garage is for owner use). We offer seamless self-check-in via front and back lockboxes.

No Third-Party Bookings: Reservations must be made by the staying guest.

Quiet Hours: To respect our community, outdoor quiet hours begin at 10 PM. No parties or events allowed.

Non-Smoking: This is a strictly non-smoking residence (inside and out).

Spacious, beautiful home with very comfortable beds. Serene location. Relaxing hot tub! Exceptionally clean and well decorated home. Great deck and fire ring with nice lighting. If I have one recommendation, I'd like more wash cloths (only had 3 and we had 6 people) and a mirror in the master bedroom. But I'm just being picky.Definitely worth the 5 star rating and would stay again.

Cozy, clean, relaxing and close enough to everything!

We loved staying here. The neighborhood is quiet. We would do coffee walks every morning, read on the porch, do fires, and the beds were actually comfy (hard to tell with photos and sometimes beds at rentals are springy and rough) I have hip problems and had no trouble sleeping! It’s 10-30 minutes from everything just about but it’s so scenic It never feels that long, I am 1000% booking again. Only

Amazing home! Highly recommended!

Great get away

The house was very charming. It was also immaculate with everything we needed: linens, towels, kitchen stuff, etc. We had a really nice post-holiday vacation despite some poor weather. Owner was available and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing House

Has everything you need and did not realize that you needed. Great location to mirror lake and several trail heads. Quiet area with easy accessibility. Fire pit is a plus and one of the reasons we chose this house again. The gas and charcoal grills well used. Perfect place! We loved it.

Annual Adirondack Adventure

This is our second time staying at the property. We love the peacefulness of the location as well as the proximity of it to hiking and other area attractions. Property is clean and well equipped with everything you need for a great stay!

Beautiful place in a very quiet location

This property is beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed afternoons on the porch after hiking. Our son loved running around the yard and our daughter found solace on the third floor. The decor was super cute and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Thank you for sharing your property with us. We will be back!

Cozy lodge close to skiing resort

My family and our friends had wonderful at this super cozy and spacious lodge.It was a perfect place to spend time with our friends.Loked the separate upstairs office and play space !We loved all the little details in the house.The location was very convenient to Whiteface ski resort!We"lol be definitely cing back!

Peaceful and Relaxing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was a relatively short drive to many exciting adventures including: Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid, Ausable Chasm and close to many wonderful hikes. The cabin itself provided a great place to relax and unwind. The whole experience was great, would definitely recommend!!

Summer vacation 2022

We enjoyed everything about the property. Included many kitchen necessities, a great fire pit and an awesome toy / kid room. Our boys loved sleeping inside the tent upstairs and the adults loved the many porches. Great property.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Many thanks to Kim for the ease of communication, attention to detail in the house, cleanliness and just such a wonderful place to call home for a week. She was quick to accommodate a slightly earlier arrival when we got to the area sooner than anticipated. The house was very clean and the mattress toppers for the sleeper sofa were a great addition! The kitchen was very well stocked and made cooking a breeze while away. We were close to a number of great hikes and spent our week exploring the area - so beautiful! Thank you again for the great stay!!

Great retreat for after a day of skiing

Loved this place! Almost wished we didn’t have full days at whiteface planned so we could enjoy the bike more! 3 separate living spaces worked so well! Would be amazing to go in summer too! So many outdoor things to do as well! Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bear Lodge skiing at Whiteface during President’s week. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed. The plastic dishes for my grandsons were an unexpected bonus. The home was cozy and comfortable! We all enjoyed it!

Mountain exploring

Cabin is in a great location-we spent time in Lake placid-lake george-Saranac lake and Whiteface mountain.Cabin has great spaces inside and out.Fireplace outside was huge and inbetween rain we enjoyed sitting by the fire.Loved game nights on Third floor.Great dinning room table to sit down as a family .Beds were so comfortable.Great communication -we loved our stay at this cabin.

Our cabin is decorated with outdoor Adirondack themes of fishing, skiing, and bears. All furnishings and accessories are updated and new.

Imagine waking up to the sound of birds, sipping your morning coffee on the deck, and taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. Spend your days hiking through lush trails, fishing on crystal-clear lakes, or skiing down snowy slopes. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit, sharing stories and laughter. Our cabin is more than just a place to stay; it's a gateway to unforgettable adventures and cherished memories.

Nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Region, we chose the cabin as it is a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is so much to do regardless of what you like. Fishing areas are nearby, along with hiking trails, canoeing, skiing, and just enjoying the nature. The neighborhood is very tranquil and relaxing with its stunning natural beauty and friendly community.. When you come to visit you're greeted by our bear mascot Baloo. This is our getaway home because we love the area.
