Frantoio House. Charming stone house in front of the dock

In the past decades, this house was a small oil mill at the disposal of the Betina community. Some farmers arrived through the alleys of the village with their baskets full of olives, others carried the precious fruits to grind by their boats, which they docked on the house’s pier. The house was carefully restored by Nadia and Giorgio in 2007 and it is now available to anyone who wants to discover the charm of the sea and of the central Dalmatian islands.
Betina is a picturesque village close to two beautiful town (Zadar and Sibenik) and 2 national parks (Krka and Kornati). In Betina you can visit an interesting Museum of wooden shipbuilding

Nice place in a great location with a small maintenance backlog

If you are looking for a perfect mix of a small Mediterranean town with restaurants and cafes in walking distance, swimming options literally in front of the door and great beaches within a short drive or hike, this is your place! It needs some smaller repairs but nothing essential. We really enjoyed our stay, next time in September though (it a really hot but there is air con if you stay inside).

Herrlicher Urlaub, Unterkunft in zentraler Lage, mitten in der Altstadt von Betina

Die Lage des Hauses ist unschlagbar, der Platz war ausreichend. Man muss wissen, dass man keinen eigenen Badesteg hat (ist auf den Fotos nicht ganz klar), sondern die Plattform am Wasser für das ganze Dorf zum Schwimmen genutzt wird. Es war aber trotzdem schön! Der Zugang erfolgt über eine Badeleiter. Kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind um die Ecke, der Strand in 10 Minuten fussläufig erreichbar.

Wunder schönes Haus, im kleinen Ort zum verlieben - ABER

Die Unterkunft ist super schön, sauber und sehr geräumig. Für 4 Personen ist das Haus zu empfehlen. Super schöne Dach Terrasse, mit direkten Blick auf das Meer. Man geht nur wenige Meter und ist in der Innenstadt von Betina, wo man entspannt ein Getränk zu sich nehmen kann und auch gut essen kann. Was man aber wissen MUSS! Das Haus und der Eingang zum Meer, ist quasi der „Ortseigene“ Eingang zum Meer. Bis 10 Uhr ist man noch alleine und dann wird die kleine liege Fläche bis auf den letzten Zentimeter belegt! Leider lassen die einheimischen, dann auch gerne mal den Müll vor den Mülltonnen des Hauses liegen, welches wir dann entfernen mussten. Da allerdings der Nachbarort Murter, nur wenige Autominuten entfernt ist und mit einem Super schönen Kroatischen Strand Punkten kann, empfiehlt es sich das Haus sehr früh zu verlassen.

この宿泊施設の特徴

In past decades, this house was a small olive oil mill available to the Betina community. Some farmers would arrive with their baskets laden with olives through the lanes of the village, others would bring their boats, which docked at the house's quay, to mill the precious fruit. Even today, a large white stone tub in which the oil was stored recalls the past and the activity that took place here.
The house was painstakingly restored by Nadia and Giorgio in 2007 and is now available to those who wish to discover the enchantment of the sea and the islands of Central Dalmatia.
