This is a one of a kind home and location. The home is a hand crafted, large diameter log home. It is 2 stories, with all the bedrooms on the second floor. It is completely equipped, with many upgrades. We are completely off grid with power coming from solar panels. We do have a back up generator for rainy days. The real feature of this property is its location. It is located in Alberta's boreal forest at the end of a dead end road, 15 kms from the nearest neighbor. Your privacy is assured. You can xcountry ski, ATV, snowmobile, hike, bike or view wildlife right from the front door. There is downhill skiing 20 minutes away. If you want to enjoy Canada's great out doors and stay in luxury, this is the place for you.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!
Wayne was the perfect host! He was so easy to contact when we needed anything but appropriately hands off as well! This property was amazing. We came for a hunting trip but this would be perfect for a family camping trip, snowmobile trip, or Christmas, or any special event. BBQ, propane, cooking utensils, bedding and everything you could think of was provided. There was so much freezer and fridge space for a long stay as well. The cabin he built by hand was beautiful with a beautiful wood burning stove/ fireplace with endless wood provided by Wayne. Each room had a two person jet tub, a shower and toilet. Three big rooms with multiple beds. We were six people but could easily fit 15 people with extra beds, a pull out in the loft, and couches. This was an amazing thanksgiving weekend and perfect memories were made! Highly recommend this place. The directions from Wayne were on point and remote enough but close enough to Edson. Thanks again Wayne!

Perfect getaway
We had fun in the cabin and enjoyed the camp fire with the kids even though we're missing the marshmallows. Wayne was very accommodating. He showed his wonderful dog which the kids had fun and loved it. Also he was very kind to have us try his ATV for added adventure.

A great cabin away in the woods.
Great stay. Wayne and Audrey are great. This is an out of the way experience for those who can make their own fun. We stayed here with our family of six. Went for walks, rested, and the kids played in the creek twice a day. But it is a place to find some real time away on a peaceful property with great trails, a comfortable log house, a great creek through the property, and great owners.
