Convenient location

The house was very clean. A few improvements could be made such as the bathtub faucet very difficult to adjust water temperature. A few of the closet doors off tracks. More towels needed especially if advertising more than six people can stay.Some of the house rules prevented us to open windows which would have been nice to get fresh air in the house. Also would suggest not scheduling appointments for contractors to come in while people have paid for the time to stay there and then having to leave for that. Communication should have been a phone call directly not a message on the VRBO.Overall pleased.

Owner was great

Super impressed with the cleanliness and the location to The College of Idaho. My complaint with the stay is with VRBO. There was a miscommunication and VRBO had to call me. I tried to talk to two different operators, but I couldn’t understand them. My app was not working so I couldn’t get access to the messages the owner was trying to send me. It would have been so much easier if VRBO would have just let the owner contact me.

We had family come in from out of state. It was a great location from our house. Great communication from host. When they come back in town we will be renting again for sure.

Everything was good except for the internet/ Wi-Fi was cutting in out while we were watching tv and a towel rake in the smaller bathroom would be nice.

To Idaho to see family members

This was a pleasant neighborhood and close to the people were there to visit. The house was very nice with a large kitchen and all the area we needed.

Unfriendly hosts

The place is very basic and stunk when we showed up. The instructions are very threatening and nothing friendly in any communication. We had three people and then they accused us of having many more people than we had. I don’t recommend staying at this place.

Perfect for us.

We were very comfortable and happy to stay at these vrbo. Whenever I thought , "I wonder if they have this?" I found they did. i.e. blow dryer, toaster. The place was well organized, clean, and comfortable.

Homeowner is crazy!

The home itself is fine, but dealing with the homeowner was not pleasant. He accused us drywall damage which we did not do and charged our card after our stay. He called my phone multiple times and yelled at me about spilled coffee on a blanket. He stated “It’s because of YOU PEOPLE I’m going bankrupt” I warn, don’t book with this owner. The harassment, list of undisclosed rules, and his ability to charge fees without consent is just not worth it.

Fine stay, a couple of small surprises.

I don't remember these being in the instructions or description prior to our arrival, but the rules included taking off shoes inside and not cooling down the house below 72 or warming it up above 72. These ended up not mattering much to us, but it would have been better to include all these and the other rules in the description more clearly.

Clean, very comfortable bed. Very good vale for price. Would stay there again. Minor complaint. Do’sand don’ts were not very welcoming. Called number on instruction sheet and person seemed irritated I call him and didn’t go thru the verbose web site.

Great location, beds and linens were nice. The overall feeling of this home away from home is a not quite moved in feeling.there is absolutley no decor in the house anywhere, and it echoes inside. I was supposed to get check in instructions the day before. I contacted homeowner several times day before, no response. Day of, i contacted him 3 times no response. I actuall thought i was scammed, so i contacted another b&b. She was very kind and offered to rent one of hers last minute. Check in was at 3 pm. We didnt get any instructions until.4 pm. I couldnt find the listing with the address, when i called homeowner for directions, he refused to give us the address, only the cross streets, claiming we could be squatters. NO THANK YOU! When we walked in the home, it was not cleaned and ready for us, as a matter of fact, the listing was still available online until 4 pm as well, when i was able to get ahold of owner. There was a HUGE and tacky display with all the rules listed, RULES THAT WERE NOT LISTED OUTRIGHT ON THE LISTING. No shoes, no smoking on premises. I will not rent from this homeowner again. I would not recommend him if you want assurance you have a rental, and it is ready.
