Beach home nestled between the beach and the bay (eastside)

Our place on Bay Road is nestled between the ocean and the bay. It is a unique retro beach home. There are three apartments with three separate entrances. You can rent one side or all three if you are vacationing with friends or extended family. We are 200 steps to a private Beach and we have beautiful bay views from the front porch. There are refreshing outside showers to use after a fun filled day at the beach. The backyard has a gas grill that goes perfectly with the outside kitchen. This is our family beach home and our children grew up spending their summers on Bay Road. It is a very special place to us and I'm sure you will love it too.

Awesome Beach Bungalow!

We had a such an amazing stay at this cute little beach bungalow! The house was clean and the perfect size for our family of 5. Quick walk to the beach and conveniently located next to Matt's. Karen was super helpful and accomdating. We're looking forward to staying again next year!

Adorable Apartment near beach

Our stay at the apartment was perfect for a long weekend. Everything was provided (except linens and towels) and accommodations were clean and orderly. Nice outdoor seating and lots of beach supplies, including chairs, umbrella and wagon. Being less than a block from the beach was ideal since we were traveling with a 2 year old. The area was quiet and close to food stores and restaurants. When we decided to stay an extra night, Karen was quick to accommodate us. Would definitely return.

The perfect weekend getaway

The house is perfect and situated in an amazing location steps from the beach and a view of the bay! The host Karen is incredibly kind, very responsive and super accommodating. Would definitely recommend this house as well be back!

Great spot outside of town

Our family loved this location for our week rental. The proximity to the private beach was perfect for quick trips with the kids without the stress of a “beach day” the location is right between Rehoboth and Bethany and was a great place to rest and recover at nap time. The host Karen was super helpful answering any questions we had and the place was clean, quiet and relaxing. Would definitely book again!

Wonderful beach stay!

Adorable property! Clean and well stocked. Loved the decor and the porch for morning coffee. Only recommendation would be for a better mattress in the master. Other than that, we would highly recommend. Couldn’t ask for a better location!

Great little hideaway

We stayed for a girls weekend to take maternity pictures. Location and vibes were perfect! The host answered questions prior to our arrival and even left a surprise in the fridge! We’d book again in a heart beat! Less than 10 minutes from boardwalk and a pebble throw away from beach! Loved our location!! Ps* order take out from Matt’s Fish Camp and walk to pick it up! Delish!

Wonderful Vacation

Pros: - Quiet Location (200 steps to beach!) - Shaded Front Porch AND Back Deck - Beach Accessories Included in Rental - Kid Friendly - Matt’s Fish Camp nearby (Expensive but worth it) - Owners are local & very responsive. Cons: - Living Rm. TV- It’s old and slow, not due to WiFi, just due to quality of TV. We gave up trying to watch anything on it- the response was beyond slow. I suggest replacing with a Roku TV like in back bedroom. - No Blackout Curtains in bedrooms- we wanted to sleep in on vacation but were unable to.. The sun wasn’t blocked out by the blinds. - No Keurig or single serve coffee maker- only 1 of us drank coffee… for a condo that can only fit up to 5/ small family, we felt having a traditional 4 cup minimum coffee maker wasn’t very efficient. - No pepper or sugar in cabinet (there was salt) - Bathroom door stuck- didn’t close easily/ quietly. - No anti-slip mat in bathtub. That being said, we would still recommend staying here. It was a relaxing, clean and comfortable place to stay.

Amazing place to stay

Great layout, very usable, very clean, has everything you need. Great beach access, everything is just perfect. Not mentioned in the listing is the couch is pull-out which is why it can sleep as many as they say. In fact in general the place is better than described.

Perfect location

This property was perfect for our family of five. We walked back & forth to the beach multiple times/day. It’s so close! The restaurant on the corner is awesome. The house was neat, clean and ready to go! My kids loved the outdoor showers

Wonderful house!

This house was perfect for our beach getaway! Just a short walk to the beach, which was ideal for the many trips back and forth with kids. The house was clean and Karen was very responsive. Will definitely be booking again!

Home away from home

This is a wonderful place to stay. My family and I have returned several years in a row. It is clean, quiet, has many amenities, and is in a great location. Karen is very responsive if there are any questions. We are looking forward to next stay already.

Beautiful property, lovely community, prime location

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this beautiful home in Bethany Beach! It was prime location between all of the shops and dinning options, with a very short drive to the boardwalk, however still having privacy and access to a private beach within walking distance. Our children couldnt get enough of the outdoor space and really enjoyed waking up to the chirps of the birds and waves. The atmosphere and community was so peaceful. Communication with the owners was top notch and were avaiable to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Thank you for all the special touches and giving our family a space to enjoy and relax at one of our favorite vacation spots. We are looking forward to making this property apart of our family tradition moving forward.

Perfect family stay

This rental was great for our mini family vacation this fall. The unit was very clean upon arrival and everything was just as pictured/described. Our kids absolutely loved it and the location is perfect. The owner was very communicative and I felt very comfortable going knowing we could contact her if we needed anything. I would recommend coming here and we can’t wait to come back! Thanks again!

First Time in Delaware!

My husband and I visited with another couple to explore DE for our first time. The place was perfect, clean, great location and a very short walk to the beach. Matt’s Fish Camp is two doors away and delicious. The place is centrally located and a short drive to Dewey, Rehoboth and downtown Bethany. One bathroom with 4 adults can be a challenge but we made it work. The unit had everything we needed and Karen was pleasant and very responsive. Overall we had a great trip, loved DE and would definitely return.

Brad and I spent our summers on Bay road with our family for over 25 years. Ten years ago Brad "semi" retired and I continued my career as a teacher at a local school in Bethany. Our son always said, "Move to where you like to vacation, then find a new vacation spot." That is exactly what we did.We love the beach life and the beach vibe and are happy to share it with you and your family/friends.

We are about 200 steps to the beach (1/2 block). Our neighborhood is in North Bethany in the community of Tower Shores. We have access to the Delaware Seashore state park for fishing and surfing. We are walking distance to Matt's Fish Camp and to the Big Chill. We are three miles to down town Bethany to the south and six miles to Dewey Beach and Rehoboth to the north. It is family oriented community. Many people return year after year.
