LE PRIEURE DE BRISON, a charming 11th-century vacation home in the village center

For your holidays with family or friends, you want to find yourself in an extraordinary place, different from home... we have what you need!!
The Priory of Brison is a stone building of the eleventh century, completely renovated with taste.
We have been able to keep the character of the former partner with a contemporary touch.
You can enjoy relaxation and rest in the shade of a hundred-year-old magnolia tree in an enclosed park, planted with trees and a bamboo grove.
Our village overlooks the Lac du Bourget, the largest natural lake in France, where you can enjoy a pleasant microclimate from April to the end of September, surrounded by a varied décor of vines, palm trees and mimosas.
Aix-les-Bains, a tourist and spa town, is 2 km away.
You will be able to enjoy the VALVITAL "WELL-BEING" Area, practice many sports and outdoor activities without forgetting shopping, restaurants and the Casino Grand Cercle to entertain yourself.
13 km of track (pedestrian, cycle, rollerblading) thanks to the greenways of Lake Bourget.
Don't miss the traditional bike tour of the lake, a 52 km loop for the brave!
Hikers, you will discover fabulous alpine landscapes in all the surrounding massifs.
More than 3000 km of marked trails for mountain bikers.
To your cyclists and on your way to a living heritage that awaits you at every turn!
Aix-les-Bains is located at the foot of one of the most beautiful places to practice Nordic skiing or snowshoeing; escape on the many marked trails, in a forest worthy of the Far North.
We are at the gateway to the largest ski areas in the Alps.

Old Priory

A very enjoyable stay in an ancient property that has been renovated to an impressive standard; some utilities located on first floor and accessed through a bedroom. Take care with steps/ floor level changes in parts of this historic building. Attentive hosts, living in an adjoining building and curating the gardens. Convenient to the lakeside. There was considerable construction in progress in the village during our stay that generated traffic making it rather noisy at times. Aix les Bains is a lovely location.

Alpine views and Lake access

A great property for a large family. Plenty of space inside and a great yard outside. Lynn and Phillipe were amazing hosts, and their love of this property shows in the care of it. The lake is just a short walk away, and made for a restful day in between all the activities we had planned. Dont miss the boat trip to HauteCombe Abbey! We truly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return!
