L’ESCOLE :
At l’ESCOLE, you can experience absolute tranquillity in a heaven on earth. Ideally situated only 3 km from the medieval perched village of Séguret which is one of the most beautiful villages in France. L’ESCOLE is just 3 km from Vaison la Romaine which is not only a medieval town but also a well-known Gallo Roman site. In the heart of Provence surrounded by vineyards and pinewoods this is a perfect location for exceptional holidays. We offer you two charming 18th C. stone buildings.

SWIMMING POOL :
You can relax anytime by our terraced swimming-pool (long :10 m X 5 m. Deep :
1 m – 2,60 m) and enjoy magnificient panoramic views of rolling vines and hillside pineforests.

HOUSES :
Our two houses for 5 and 7 people are entirely renovated and refurbished in a traditional way. The interiors continue the provencal style with stone walls, exposed beams and antique furniture. Their charm, character and high standard of accomodation will enable you to enjoy a comfortable and delightful stay. Each house has a private terrace with BBQ and additional land where you’ll taste the wonderful climate of Provence.

THE REGION :
You will be surrounded by the magic of Provence : it’s wonderful landscapes, it’s perched villages, it’s Roman sites, it’s colourful markets, it’s unforgettable food and wines and it’s way of life. On the paths which lead from l’Escole to the Dentelles of Montmirail or the Mont Ventoux as you enjoy a wonderful journey through vineyards, olive groves, past truffle oaks, lavander and the scent of wild herbs you will be charmed by the magnificient of Provence.

An Idyllic Week in Provence

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property tucked away in a quiet corner of Provence. It’s a perfect location for visiting the many towns in the area. The hiking and scenery are spectacular, then you get to come back and lounge by the pool overlooking the vineyards. Be sure to follow the host’s instructions to get to the property, not the information on Google Maps.

Un séjour parfait

Escole est un endroit magnifique, la vue splendide contribue a l'apaisement. Notre gîte était très confortable et bien équipé. La piscine est grande et amménagée de façon à ce que les vacanciers ne se gênent pas : large espace autour de la piscine, nombreuses chaises longues...Patrick nous a accueilli chaleureusement et a su répondre à toutes nos attentes. Un havre de paix

Dans un cadre idyllique, mas parfaitement rénové et découpé en quelques appartements/maisons bien isolés les uns des autres et équipés en tout. Immergé dans la nature luxuriante néanmoins très soignée. Une superbe vue plongeante sur la vallée de vigne et d’oliviers depuis la très appréciée piscine. Pas d’habitations à proximité, que du vert. Un paradis que l’on rejoint pour les quelques 300 derniers mètres sur un chemin de piste. Point de départ pour de multiples randonnées, central pour la visite de plusieurs villages de charme de ce côté de la Provence. Nous conseillons absolument.

Toller Aufenthalt mitten in der Natur

Der Aufenthalt im "Tournesol" war wunderbar. Das Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet und bietet sehr angenehmen Komfort mit eigenem Bad, WC, und Dusche pro Zimmer. Es hat sehr viel Platz draussen und man darf sich überall einrichten, wo es gerade passt. Direkt vor der Haustüre kann man auf Wanderungen oder Biketouren gehen. Die Lage ist sehr sonnig, von morgens bis abends. Der Empfang von Patrick war sehr herzlich und er kennt die Gegend gut und kann Empfehlungen für Wanderungen oder Biketouren geben, falls gewünscht. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten in Vaison-la-Romaine um Einzukaufen oder die Restaurants zu geniessen.

Für Urlauber die etwas abseits der Trubels sich entspannen wollen ist es hier richtig. In Mitten von Weinbergen und Abseits des Zivilisationslärms kann man hier entspannen. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmässig und in ordentlicher Qualität ohne übertriebenen Luxus. Ein provençalisches Schmuckstück, jederzeit gerne wieder.
