This charming home is located in Franklin, NC nestled in a valley, surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Its location is quiet, peaceful and relaxing but it’s a short distance from endless possibilities for fun and adventure. When you step out on the porch life slows down and seems more serene. With rustic mountain elegance, this hideaway is the perfect place for everything from romantic getaway to family gatherings.

Beautiful interior rustic design /w an awesome gas fireplace. Home was in pristine condition with a very comfortable bed! I honestly hated to leave! Very clean, everything you need was provided. Communication with the owners was wonderful, this property was a 10 out of 10 and we will surely stay again when in the area!

Awesome girls trip at Whitfield Hideaway. Loved loved everything about it. So comfy and spacious. All accomodations you could ever need. Especially enjoyed the rockers and the fire pit. Also enjoyed the gas fireplace. Beds are so comfortable and the showers were great!Jeannie you and Ross have a knack for decorating.....felt like I was in a museum and didn't want to miss looking at it all. We love staying at this home. It’s clean, comfortable and cute. We have an event that we come into town for, so unfortunately we only sleep there. Would love to have more time to really enjoy it.

Great place to stay in Franklin NC!!

The house is very spacious and clean. I liked that there were written instructions everywhere so you didn’t have to guess simple things. It was also decorated adorably. The kids loved the outside fire pit and enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire. The hosts were quick to call if I needed any help and even had a welcome gift waiting for us. We loved it so much we stayed an extra day! I would definitely stay here again and would love to come back in fall. This area is so beautiful!

Wonderful trip

Whitfield hideaway was everything advertised and more! It was clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped for everything that you need for a quick weekend getaway or a more extended stay. Jeannie was great to work with and very responsive when needed. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great and there were plenty of big fluffy towels. We hated when it was time for us to leave and can’t wait until we get to come stay again!!

We stay here as many times as we can

We love staying here. It’s peaceful and quiet. Only problem I had this time was there wasn’t any pot holders to take my food out of the oven. Also if you love to walk which i go for walks everyday , don’t go to the end and turn left I almost got attacked by a big black dog. I was petrified. So. Carry some bear spray to protect yourself from this dog. We will be back hopefully in 2026.

Both spacious and cozy

We would DEFINITELY stay here again. The cabin has a lot of space, and everything is immaculate. The host instructions were very clear and welcoming. Great value!

Friends getaway

This place was amazing!! It was so beautiful and clean inside! Special touch was walking inside to Christmas tree and decorations with stockings that had our names on them! The whole stay was perfect and we enjoyed our time there. My mother just moved to Franklin and when there is a bigger group of us visiting her we will book this place every time. I can’t wait for the next time I can stay here!

We loved this home. It is beautifully decorated. We were in town for a weekend event and sadly just slept there. I would have loved to be able to spend a week there. The beds were very comfortable. We all loved them. Would definitely stay again!

Nice getaway

Very nice place, quiet and secluded, still close to places to eat and things to do. The house was clean, the bed was comfortable. Would recommend staying there.
