The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the lake view immensely! Very peaceful area and it suited the needs of our group very well. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The decor is adorable! I highly recommend this house for anyone!

Great stay for extended family

Spent a week with extended family. The Lake was close enough for family to come up for the day or stay all week. Great location to grocery stores, coffee, restaurants, and local pubs as well as some great restaurants. The owner was super attentive and easy to get ahold of! Great week!

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

We had our whole family (16 of us, ranging from 7-72) together at this place to celebrate mom and dad's 50th anniversary. It was the perfect space for us to be together as a family, cook meals together, play games, etc. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a great week in this beautiful lake home!!

The home was beautiful and easily accommodated our large family of 14 ranging from 7 - 75 years old. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of room for multiple cooks. All the kids enjoyed going down to the docks to fish, swim and paddle board and the fire pit was a hit! Maureen was a delight to work with and very responsive to every request. We had a wonderful week and will likely rent again. As an aside, we rented equipment from the local marina within walking distance of the lake house and Nina and Nicole were very helpful and pleasant.

Amazing views

Location was perfect and house was perfect. Having the dock was a great benefit. Plenty of property for the kids to play outside sports and the bedrooms were spacious.

Beautiful home on Lake Delavan

We had a tremendous Thanksgiving Holiday weekend with our family. This home was perfect. The home is in beautiful shape, plenty of room and beds for everyone. The kitchen was great for making Thanksgiving dinner. The owner is very assessable and helpful. And the views….amazing. Would highly recommend this to any family or group.

Wonderful home and location!

We had a group of 9 high school friends celebrating our 55th birthdays and this house/location was perfect for the occasion!! Very clean, plenty of parking and great conversational space. We also had plenty of kitchen space to have a taco bar and more. Maureen was very responsive, easy to work with and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our weekend getaway - thank you!! The house is in a great location right on Delavan Lake and easily walkable to a few restaurants/bars. Highly recommend the Inn Between. We are looking forward to a return trip for our next celebration!!

Great family fun!

The common space was wonderful to hang out in with great views of the lake. The dock was wide so everybody could fit on it and swim off it.

This Lake Delavan home had everything we needed for a perfect vacation with our multigenerational family. It included a great deck with a grill and large tables for eating outside while enjoying a wonderful view of the lake. Inside we loved the tablesfor games, crafts and puzzles. The bedrooms were very comfortable along with nice bathrooms. There were more great views of the lake inside while enjoying the very comfortable furniture. The kitchen was large and well stocked. Great WiFi and very generous parking. We loved the fire pit in the evenings to play lawn games and roast marshmallows as the moon was rising. It’s a great location for renting a boat, picking up groceries and a quiet walk along the lake. Our host Maureen was very gracious in suggesting all that was available. We hope to return soon for another family gathering.

Christmas vacation

What a perfect spot to bring the family to all get together over the Christmas holiday. The house was perfect, spacious, and everyone was comfortable. The large, well stocked kitchen was also perfect for many big Family meals. Great views of the lake an access to walk along the path as well. Would highly recommend, and definitely would go back!

Family reunion on Lake Delevan waterfront

Beautiful accommodation with pier for fishing, pontoon rental and swimming. Ample room for ten of us with two teenagers. Gorgeous kitchen and large dining table with plenty of seating on porch and deck. Firepit on lower level.

Relaxing, roomy, retreat

House was very well kept and clean. Very spacious and plenty of beds for a family gathering. Location perfect with beautiful views of the Lake each daily sunrise and sunset. Short drive to stores, food, and restaurants. I would highly recommend this house for your next family gathering!!

Beautiful stay on the lake

The property is beautiful, in prime location, Great Lake access. Everything was clean. Kitchen pristine and easy to use for making meals. Maureen was very responsive. Perfect for a big group. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, large home on the lake!

A very spacious house that easily accommodated all 11 of us. Plenty of room and beds. The home has a nice open floor plan and a big table everyone could get around. Maureen, the owner, was great to work with. Highly recommend. We would stay at this house again.

Hello my name is Maureen. I am from Oak Lawn, Illinois and now live in Lockport, Illinois with my husband. It has been my absolute pleasure and privilege to manage The Delavan Lake Home. When we purchased this home it needed some tender love and care so we worked very hard in transforming it to the home of our dreams. We use the home ourselves but when we can't we rent it to other families. We visit and often stay at the home at least once a month this way we can really see how everything is working. When the home is not being used or for some reason we can't get there we have our handyman come in to do a once a week check up of the home. We are always amazed at how well all of our guests take care of the home. Every time we go to the home we always add something new; sheets, comforters, towel, pictures, furniture etc. It has been a labor of love and we have many repeat visitors each year. We hope that you will enjoy your time at The Delavan Lake Home as much as we do!!!

The number one reason we picked this property was the location. We are right in between charming down town Delavan and Lake Geneva. We are close to the shops, restaurants and other touristy sights of Lake Geneva but we get the real feel of lake home living on a quieter and not over crowed lake. We choose this particular Delavan Lake home mostly because of the amazing views of the lake it provides, the proximity of the home between down town Delavan and down town Lake Geneva, the fact that it is on the lake shore walking path and we also were amazed with the sizes of all of the rooms in this house. It is a very spacious home even all of the bedrooms are very big! You can have large groups and not feel crowded. We also were very aware that there is no street parking on the lake and this was one of the few homes that could accommodate at least 16 cars.
