Private Hilltop Country 3-Bedroom Home

This single family, rural wooded rental house is located on a 2 acre, farm adjacent lot, available for short term stays. The property offers a large front, side and backyard, beautiful views of pastures, woods, and sunsets and is located just 10 minutes (4 miles) from downtown Iowa City, the home of the University of Iowa & University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.

The living area of the home is all on one floor making this ideal for families and those that prefer no stairs.

Bedroom #1 offers a queen bed with closet. Bedroom #2 offers two (2) XL twin beds and closet located adjacent to the main bathroom. Bedroom #3 (i.e. primary bedroom) offers a spacious layout with queen bed, TV, two walk-in closets and an en-suite three (3) piece bathroom.

Property owner resides next door providing easy and quick access for check-in/out or any assistance, as needed. The rental property is one of two (2) private homes on the lane.

Pam was very quick to reply when I had a question and had everything I needed to prepare meals during our stay. Great for families. The location was perfect and easy access to I-80. We plan to return and hope Pam’s place is available.

Great little house in the country.

It was a great little house to stay with our kids and grandkids. Close to the little beach on the lake and to the kids museum as well.

Iowa City Graduation

Pam's home was perfect for my family to travel to Iowa City for my son's graduation. The home was exceptionally clean, and was in close proximity to all events and activities that weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Great weekend in IC.

This was a great house right outside of Iowa City. It was a cute home out in the peaceful countryside, but super close drive to downtown. I will definitely stay here again.

We are local Iowa City residents of over 35 years. We live next door to the rental property on a beautiful acreage. Our house is a 100+ year old farm house with a barn and pond. We enjoy nature, woods, wildlife and quiet rural living and are knowledgeable about local recommendations.

Our home is located on the edge of town, providing a peaceful respite for us as well as visitors, while still being close to downtown Iowa City attractions. We have easy access of 5minutes to groceries, and coffee shops. The property is private yet we're available to guests as needed.

This home has a front porch and back deck from which to enjoy nature; fields, tress, shrubs, sunsets. The house is comfortable and well equipped and well furnished. The location is rural and on a gravel road 1/2 mile off the main road.
