Enjoy a peaceful condo near the ocean! This homey, hotel-style retreat is set up to be a restful spot. Cook up breakfast in the full kitchen, then enjoy it out on your screened-in patio. If you're coming inside with sandy (or snowy!) shoes, just leave them on the floor and head straight into the bathroom set up with double sinks and a shower/tub combination. The condo is all one level, making it easier for folks who have trouble with stairs. Guests of this condo will also be able to enjoy multiple shared amenities. Relax by the shared firepit as the stars come out or take a dip in the shared indoor pool.

This condo's location by the ocean is one of its charms - Drakes Island Beach is just under two miles away, Laudholm Beach is just under two-and-a-half miles away, and Wells Beach is just under three miles away. There are even more down the coastline! If you'd like to learn even more about the area, First Chance Whale Watch offers educational and observational tours just under six miles away.

The community pool is closed from January through March and reopens in April. Pool hours are 8:00 AM–10:00 PM from April through August, and 8:00 AM–9:00 PM from September through December. Please note: pool availability and hours are subject to change at the discretion of the HOA and are not controlled by the management company.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 1.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Good location at a good price

We made a last-minute decision to go to Wells, Maine for the 4th of July weekend - we are fans of Drake's Island. This space was close to the beach, anything you might need, and you cannot beat the price! The communication with Vacasa was excellent. While the furniture is a bit dated, and it could have been a little bit cleaner, you will have everything you will need in the small kitchenette and the overall space, to meet your needs. Great for a small family or couple looking for a getaway place. The indoor pool is a definite plus!

Quiet retreat

This complex sits off of the road and away from the traffic. It makes it very nice and quiet. We stayed for a few days just after the Fourth of July. It is very convenient and close to many area sites and attractions.

Property grounds are very nice

The property grounds are very nice. A few 5 minute drive to Drake’s Island. The unit needs to be updated and refreshed.

The appartment was ok, a bit old. The table was broken, the kitchen equipment was not complete. Pool was nice and especially all nearest beaches. Ideal for kids to swim.

Have previously submitted a detail list and pictures of moldy patio, broken furniture, stove top and other lack of amenities as promised. Was promised a call back from Vacasa the next day.Its been 6 days now and still no contact from anyone. Disgusting situation that needs attention prior to anyone renting that unit again and we should be compensated for the inconveniences endured during our stay. We have friends that are owners at this complex and have stayed several times previously and NEVER had a unit this inappropriate.Please do not post this as we are still hopeful that someone will make this right and we can show that in a review! A lot wrong with our stay. I called 3 times to VRBO with little help.•back porch door didn't latch or stay shut so anyone could walk in even when locked•no working TV someone did stop by to install a Roku but she didn't finish as she told me she was going on vacation and didn't have time so asked me as the guest to do it, I didn't have the login or password or verification and she had to have known I couldn't complete this•no working vent and poor water flow with no working left sink at all•lamp had missing lightbulb and I was told it works when there was a lightbulb clearly missing•No oven mitts or hot pads for oven use •only one knife in drawer•dirty blankets and quilts in beds with stains•not enough matching sets for clean linens in drawers•not enough towels. We only had 1 towel with no backups for each guest. 4 guests for 8 day stay and 1 towel set each. I asked for more in the first day and I was told to call back for more when needed. When I did I was told I can't get more towels because the standard is only 1 towel per guest. Gross.•guestbook is very outdated like for a old motel. Everything it said in there is false. When I called for more towels and help I got nothing.Not even a call back. Very uncommunicative and I believe so because I was left hanging as Becca Ordway the person that was helping us went on vacation and told me I should know how that goes when going on vacation. I shouldn't have had to finish setting up the TV it's not set up Love a refund

The property was in close enough driving distance to beaches and dining. I enjoyed the pool. A fitness area would be nice. My main objection was the complicated key entrance to the property.

Poorly stocked unit

No toilet paper, no maid service, minimal bedding, minimal kitchenware. Property manager did not have spare key so we were locked out of our room for an hour. Definitely wouldn’t stsy here again. Owner clearly doesn’t care about their renters’ experience.
