Exceptional family holiday home overlooking the common garden, with covered private terrace. Ideal for a family of 4 people. Or for 2 people needing (much) space. Air conditioning. The successful marriage of fine Alsatian tradition, heritage and beautiful modern comfort. Wifi.

With more than 95 square meters + outside terrace, the Lucky Dragon is the second largest apartment in our new Remparts 1291 property. It is accessible via a private terrace overlooking the garden (the garden gives access to all the apartments of the property). The apartment itself is spread over 3 levels. Upon entry, one reaches a spacious kitchen with its large dining area housed in a glazed extension overlooking the garden.

At the same level is a comfortable lounge and a romantic small alcove serving as a small bedroom for 2 persons (comfortable separate beds 90 x 200 cm). A bathroom with shower and toilet complete the layout of this first level (not adjacent to bedroom, check layout).

Upstairs is a nice bedroom (king size double bed 180 x 200 cm) and a beautiful bathroom with a toilet. The bathroom offers a bath (no whirlpool anymore) and a large separate shower, two sinks and a large closet for the storage of clothes, ideal for long stays.

If necessary, in the attick, there are 2 comfortable single beds (90 x 200 cm) are available for quiet grown-up children.

Although the Lucky Dragon benefits from a good natural insulation, the living room and the attic (extra beds) are airconditioned. The main bedroom has no airconditioning since it is hardly necessary.

The LUCKY DRAGON is a charming vacation house with top comfort for 2-4 people. It is also ideal for a family stay with grandparents, parents and older children (but the apartment is not suitable for very young children due to safety issues).
But if you are booking for 2 couples of adults, we recommend to pay attention to sleeping areas.

Excellent place; lovely town; host resolved issue with door handle very quickly. The host gives the best instructions I have ever seen to park and to the property. We loved our stay!

Amazing!!!

Absolutely perfect rental, comfortable beds, towels, sheets, spacious accommodations and perfect location in the quiet village. One little block to amazing dinner, fun pub and brewery down the street. Owner was communicative and provided help when needed.

Favorite stay ever!

This is the most charming and magical place! There are simply not enough stars to rate this as high as I would like. I feel like my dreams for a magical small town medieval Christmas came true beyond anything I could have dreamed up. Simply marvelous!

Faultless, Home away from Home

The Little Dragon is located in the centre of the village and gave us privacy but yet only a short 30 second walk to the main street. It is Immaculately maintained inside and out with private secured parking if you need it. It was just as advertised in the pictures. The photos on the site say it all really. The place was very clean, well decorated, very well maintained in keeping with the character of the place and village, very well equipped, completely furnished with everything you need for your stay. Internet worked great as did the heating and hot water. Valerie, the owners manager who met us at the property was great at explaining all that the little dragon had to offer, also all the great places to visit in the Village and its surroundings. We were centrally located to be able to explore the region to the north and south and still get back to enjoy the property and Riquewihr every night. A Must Place to eat is at Au Trotthus and Asian Tapas. I have being going to Riquewihr with my wife several times a year for the last 6 years would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing holiday in this beautiful Village. In fact i have stayed in several of the owners, Jean-Paul K appartments and can’t fault any of them. All of them individually styled and furnished to a very high standard giving you a feeling of home away from home. He has different apartments which will suit anyones requirements, needs and budgets and you should definitely check out his site i-love-riquewihr dot com before you make you choice. traumhaftes Ferienhaus

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus mitten im Ort und trotzdem ruhig und unbehelligt von den anderen Touristen. Hier kann man den wunderschönen Ort und die guten Restaurants genießen, wenn die Touristen wieder auf dem Weg nach Hause sind und tolle Wanderungen machen, ohne das Auto benutzen zu müssen. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet mit allem Komfort. Auch den Kindern hat es prima gefallen!

One of the most beautiful places

If you haven’t been to Riquewihr during Christmas time with its Christmas market in the medieval streets of this old Alsacian town and you happen to love old places with great food and beverages you should definitely consider a stay. During festive season Riquewihr also features Christmas decorations, mostly fairy lights, giving the town a unique atmosphere. However, it’s not just Riquewihr itself. The Remparts de Riquewihr offer apartments which are just like you see them on the photos: nice, Alsacian style, with all the comforts of modern kitchens and baths, plus an excellent service fluent in French, German and English. Especially the Lucky Dragon: If you stay with six people the main room may be a bit crowded on Heiligabend or Christmas Day (depending on your Father Christmas appearance ;-) ) but the house is a bit set back from the street (quiet), it has a terrasse for the morning coffee (yes, also when it’s freezing cold) and cozy sleeping rooms. All in all, I enjoyed staying there very much and I can definitely recommend it.

Dragon porte-bonheur / Lucky Dragon

Nous avons beaucoup aprécié notre séjour dans cet appartment, rénové avec beacoup d'attention et de goût. Valérie nous a accueillis avec une grande gentillesse et disponibilité! Tout était parfait, les peignoirs et les paniers avec chaussons et champoings nous attendaient. Nous conseillons cet appartement à une famille avec adolescents car les 2 chambres à 2 lits sont petites dont l'une avec un escalier assez raide. Nous avons pu visiter les villes alentour et avons pu skier au Lac Blanc qui se situe à 40mn de l'appartement. Nous reviendrons très vite! We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartement! It is a little cottage renovated with attention, taste and the best materials. Valérie was very attentive to our well-being. Everything was perfect, the bathrobes and slippers were waiting for us. We recommend this apartement to a family with teenagers because the 2 other bedrooms are small. We visited the cities all around and could ski at the Lac Blanc which is 40mn away from the apartment. We will come back very soon!

Besser geht nicht....

Im Oktober 2016 waren wir zum wiederholten Male Gäste in Riquewihr. Auch die Ferienwohnung "Der Glückliche Drache" lässt keine Wünsche offen. Durch die Art und Anlage des Hauses hat man das Gefühl, nicht in einer Wohnung, sondern in einem Ferienhaus Quartier zu beziehen. Die reizende und geschmackvolle Einrichtung, die dem Stil der Erbauungszeit entspricht, versprüht einen Charme, dem man sich nicht entziehen kann. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt von der ersten Minuten an genossen. Die Wohnung hat das "Wohlfühlfeeling", das wir uns für unseren Urlaub vorstellen. Daher kommen wir wie immer gern wieder. Extrêmement chaleureux , on a eu du plaisir à séjourner dans ce gîte aménagé avec beaucoup de goût , au niveau de confort excellent et un équipement en parfait état (presque neuf). Quelle bonne idée d'avoir choisi cet endroit pour une semaine de détente ! Nous avons été reçus comme des amis par les charmants propriétaires de ce très joli appartement idéalement situé : face au château du Haut Koenigsbourg, dans un charmant village de moyennes montagnes, entouré de forêts et à 100m d'un "étoilé Michelin". La décoration y est raffinée, un petit cocon duquel il est difficile de s'extraire lorsque le temps est médiocre. En revanche, lorsqu'il fait beau, l'environnement est propice aux randonnées et découvertes de cette région magnifique.

en famille ou entre amis en toute harmonie

C'est notre deuxième séjour ici et c'est vraiment l'endroit idéal pour se retrouver pendant quelques jours. Cette maison très confortable à la décoration raffinée permet de vivre ensemble sans se gêner. Il est agréable de se retrouver autour de la grande table de la salle à manger ou sur la terrasse couverte lorsque le temps est clément pour prendre un verre ou y diner. L'emplacement aussi est idéal : au calme, dans un joli jardin clos et pourtant à proximité de la rue principale.. Les aménagements intérieurs ont été bien pensé. Les matériaux utilisés sont de qualité (du luxe sobre). L'accueil est chaleureux, amicalement même. Et puis, les vignes aux alentours, les dégustations de vins, les restaurants...une parenthèse heureuse. Tout est fait pour que l'on y revienne et nous y reviendrons encore.

Traumferienwohnug entdeckt!

Von der Buchung bis zur Ankunft und Rezeption verlief alles bequem und problemlos. Die Angaben des Inserats stimmen nicht nur voll mit den Gegebenheiten überein, sondern übertreffen sie in der Realität sogar noch beträchtlich. Die Lage des Hauses ist reizvoll, andere Touristen, die sich in das Gässchen verlieren, bleiben staunend stehen. Die Innenausstattung ist mehr als comfortabel, die Geräte und Möbel sind exklusiv und raffiniert. Auch unser Hund war willkommen. Wir fanden die Wohnung bzw. die Stimmung der gesamten Unterkunft sehr wohltuend, gerade wenn man nicht nur den ganzen Tag Sehenswürdigkeiten abklappert, sondern sich auch aufhalten, arbeiten oder in der Blubberwanne entspannen möchte. Das Örtchen selbst ist zauberhaft, die Umgebung bietet für alle interessante, naturnahe, kulkturelle und sportliche Ziele. Uns hat der Glückliche Drache bezaubert!

Traumhaft schön

Durch Zufall sind wir im Internet auf die schönen Wohnungen von Familie Krebs gestoßen und haben uns im Sommer ein paar Tage im Elsass gegönnt. Unsere Wohnung war bis in jedes Detail perfekt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Obwohl ganz nah an der quirligen Altstadt, war es herrlich ruhig und wir konnten am Abend ungestört im schönen Innenhof sitzen. Auch der Kontakt zu Familie Krebs war freundlich und unkompliziert. Besser kann Urlaub nicht sein! Familie aus Berlin
