We are located in a unique, pristine setting only two miles from the Kenai Bridge and Soldotna and within walking distance from the Kenai River and bike/jogging trails. Liked having 2 bathrooms with dining table large enough for everyone. Covered parking and fire pit was nice. Would have been better with additional pillow/blankets available.

Great Location with Alaskan Wildlife

Our family had a great time at the VRBO we selected in Soldotna, AK. They had everything we needed! There was enough room for all of us and it was nice to sit on the deck and see the wild rabbits and moose. The kids had a lot of room to run and play. We appreciated all the hard work and detail the owners had put into the rental. We would love to stay again next year.

Family weekend

Easy to find just off Kalifornsky Clean house with everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy time together The most entertaining thing we saw at the property were the waves of seagulls landing in the backyard to eat giant earth worms

Fantastic home base on the Kenai

The apartment was perfect for our family trip to the Kenai for salmon! The three bedrooms and two bathrooms worked perfect! The fire ring, grill and deck were ideal for our evenings! We would highly recommend this listing. D look forward to returning!

Nice Location

We enjoyed our stay at your apartment. It was clean and comfortable for our group. We enjoyed the outdoor patio area and grill for some home cooked meals. Thanks for the use of this home. The only thing we would have liked is live TV availability; however would definitely stay there again.

Terrific Large Apartment

This rental is a large, beautifully decorated apartment in a 4 unit building. One apartment across from us was occupied during our stay, and while we heard them coming in and out, all was quiet as can be once their door was closed. All of the furnishings were very comfortable, except that the bunk beds, having only mattresses, weren't comfortable to my 21 year old daughter, who stayed with us just one night. But that is the nature of bunk beds. There are some very nice touches in this rental. Especially appreciated were the desk and desk supplies in the bunk bed room. While we didn't work from the apartment, it was so nice to have a piece of paper, pen, scissors and a bit of tape available for the odd note/tear/ tough package. Same for the food storage products and basic spices that were on hand! Very thoughtful. The linens and towels were very nice, and travel size soap bars and shampoo/conditioner were on hand in each bathroom. There were four paperback novels in the master bedroom, and books on hiking in Alaska were found in the liviing room. The TV was easy to use (just one remote) and Netlilx is available. The kitchen was easy to work in, and there is a great grill on the beautiful deck. Parking is in a covered carport right next to the building. The weather got a bit warm during the last part of our stay, and we found it hard to get the bedrooms to cool down because one queen bedroom only has one window and no window screen, and the other queen room has a window screen in just one of two windows (so no cross ventilation). There were enough flies around (typical Alaskan summer) that we didn't want to open a screenless window. The windows are awning style, so they may let in less air than other styles. Not a big deal at all, but something to note in the interests of leaving a balanced review. We highly recommend this property as your home from which to explore the gorgeous Kenai Peninsula!

lovely home--perfect for a family stay

This is a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood, in easy walking distance to a peaceful trail at the rive. It is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well supplied with good cooking pots & pans & appliances, and has plenty of tableware. It is nice to have covered parking, something you don't find at most guest homes. The owner was very responsive when I contacted her with questions. We highly recommend this home.

Great stay

Perfect place for 4 fishermen to stay. They do not allow fish processing or freezing on site which was fine for us as we were fishing for trout. Would stay there again

Great centrally located property!

This is a great property with easy access to all the recreation in Soldotna, Kenai, the rivers, beaches and trails. It's in a 4-plex and we enjoyed meeting the other guests staying from other states. It is roomy, quiet and nicely furnished. If you are cooking your own meals like we did, you'll need to pick up pantry supplies like salt, pepper, oil, condiments, etc. as those are not provided, but the kitchen has all the other equipment you may need. There is a nice, big backyard and a grassy front yard for outdoor games, and a great firepit out back. This rental provided great value for the price compared with other properties in the area.
