Check out this private + recently renovated river home in Flippin, Arkansas.

Known for some of the best fishing in the world, our cabin in nestled in a private neighborhood, near Wildcat Shoals. Our boat dock allows for convenient pick up and drop off for fishing guides. You are able to dock up for lunch, or to swap out who is fishing. World Class fly fishing up and down the beautiful White River! Bull Shoals Lake offers excellent fishing and boating only 8 miles away. Boats available for rental on the river and lake. The dock is shared with one other family in the area.

Our property has been upgraded with bank stabilization - the rock bank allow guests to walk down to the water, and depending on water levels, wade and bank fishing can be easily accessible.

Views of the beautiful White River can be seen from almost every room in the house. Offering an open floor plan, guests can enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with extra small appliances for convenience (including a fish fryer, crockpot, blender, and more), a large screened-in porch with lounge chairs to drink coffee and an outdoor dining table for dinners, a beautiful outdoor fireplace to roast s'mores, and a charcoal grill available. Charcoal and firewood available upon request.

Rooms are all furnished with luxury linens and and we offer accommodations for kids and babies (crib, high-chair, and toys are available, if needed).

We arrived after dark and none of the patio or carport lights were on. After coming into the house we realized none of the outside lights worked. The lights at the dock didn’t work either. Most of the switches in the house didn’t work. The sliding door in the back bedroom doesn’t lock and there was nothing holding it shut. That’s where my kids slept. The next day the a/c quit working and the guy didn’t come until the following day so we had to open doors and deal with bugs. The host sent 5 fans bc her HVAC tech couldn’t come when we needed it. It took him 30 minutes. The host offered another night but no discount for the inconvenience.

Hey Shannon! Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, but I do want to clarify a few details for future guests. The A/C issue occurred around 8p.m. on a Friday evening. As soon as I was notified, I contacted my HVAC technician. Because it was after hours, he was unable to come that night, so I immediately provided five fans to make everyone as comfortable as possible. The tech arrived at 9am the next morning and had the issue resolved within 30 minutes. Given the timing, I feel I responded as quickly as reasonably possible. I also offered you an additional night at no charge for the inconvenience. I truly felt this was a meaningful effort to make the situation right and went above and beyond to accommodate. Regarding the electrical concerns, all switches and exterior lighting are working to my knowledge. I will, of course, continue to have everything checked to ensure it is operating properly for future guests. The sliding-door concern is also being addressed, although I do believe it was simply not shut completely. I take the condition of my property and my guests’ experience seriously. Unexpected maintenance issues can happen, but when they do, I make every effort to respond quickly and resolve them, and in this situation, I believe I did exactly that.

Relaxing River Stay!
