Next to Yellowstone National Park, near the North Entrance you will nestle into a home on a a rise overlooking the Yellowstone River, and surrounded by snow capped mountains, you can relax to the sounds of nature and the river. The breathtaking views from the Meadow Cabin make this Yellowstone lodging truly special. This special and separate place offers a warm fireplace with a river view, country kitchen, and rustic bedroom with bath.  Lovely walkout deck where you will find additional living/sleeping with three beds and extra space with a bathroom and laundry room. The sights and sounds of the Yellowstone, our warm hospitality, and the uniqueness of the Meadow Cabin await your pleasure.

Base Rate $425 night is for 2 guests and $50.00 is added for each additional person up to 6 maximum. Please choose number of guests staying before booking cabin. Two bedrooms and three beds, 2 queen and a set of twin beds.

Meadow Cabin is lovely! Super cozy woth fireplace and comfy furniture. It’s even larger than I expected and the river views are awesome. Kitchen is fully stocked and the homemade jam was *delicious*.

Extremely gorgeous and cozy cabin on the river that provides plenty of solitude and natural ambiance. Loved that there is practically no light pollution and was actually able to see the milky way.

Amazing pet friendly home away from home. This is exactly the riverfront quiet property you hope it is with amazing hosts. Would stay anytime available but would not be surprised if this is always booked. Stay here if u get the chance.

Life cannot get much better staying in a warm, comfortable, homey cabin on the Yellowstone River. Our hosts were gracious, very helpful and it was apparent they wanted this to be our home away from home. Would we return for another stay? In a heartbeat!

Home right on the Yellowstone River!This is our second time staying at this wonderful home.We(fam,teens)loved staying here.We wanted an area filled with wildlife, fishing.This home & owners surpassed our dreams!We have seen much more wildlife around the rental, than 5 yrs visiting YNP! We discovered Pete & Carol's rental this summer.We are lucky to now call them our friends.They are two of the most selfless,funny,knowledgable,warm-hearted people we have ever known.Checkin was easy with lock code.We were greated with delicious cake,wine,new-laid eggs,butter, milk,necessities,and Carol's wonderful huckleberry-rhubarb jam,that we spread lavishly on bread & enjoyed slice upon slice.The bedrooms/beds are very comfortable.The kitchen is very well stocked with necessities,spices,popcorn,hot chocolate,&more.There are two coffee/drinks stations for upstairs, downstairs.We had dinners in the screened-in porch from where we relaxed to Yellowstone flowing by,calling of birds,cattle,elk.There is direct access to the river.We fished for trout, enjoying them on the provided grill.Pete & Carol hosted a bonfire where we sat around at dusk, getting to know each other,enjoying Carol's delicious brownies.Pete generously lent us his binoculars,spotting scope.He took us to watch grizzles nearby.We saw mommas, cubs-over 7 grizzlies!They believe in conservation;building birds nests all over their land.They have great info on eatries,fishing,wildlife,hot springs,etc.Can't wait to return in winter!
Rental home is right on the Yellowstone River, where we have many happy memories of fishing, watching Osprey fish, enjoying the moon reflection of the water, and listening to the beautiful sound of a river running in your backyard!

Osprey landing near it's nest. There are 3 pairs and 3 nexts of Osprey on the property. Pete & Carol are part of Osprey conservation program, and help band the birds. They have put up so many nests for Osprey, bluebirds, swallows on their property.
Pete took us several times to this wonderful meadow in the nearby mountains (easy, short drive) where grizzlies, cubs congregate every evening (we saw 7) to feed on roots. Pete is an amazing guide with deep knowledge about the where to watch wildlife

Family Vacation

The stay was incredible and we will definitely be coming back. Pete and Carol were fantastic to deal with from the communication, tips on Yellowstone, tasty treats left at cabin to the fireside smores one evening. The cabin provided exceptional views of the Yellowstone River, along with Emigrant Peak and surrounding mountains. It was plenty spacious for our family of four. Our family had an incredible time, we have been home less than 24 hours and our kids are begging to go back!

Family vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay at Carol and Pete’s beautiful cabin. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—from the homemade sticky buns waiting for us upon arrival to the thoughtful goodies stocked in the fridge. Every detail of the cabin was carefully considered, and it truly felt like a special home away from home. Carol and Pete’s kindness and hospitality made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommend!

PERFECT CABIN WITH A GORGEOUS VIEW

We could not have asked for a better place to stay or a better host. The host was out of town so her DIL ( Holly) filled in for them and she did a great job. The view was absolutely gorgeous, my husband said it looked like a picture. This was our first visit to Montana and we will be back and we will book this cabin again …

Just Perfect!

First of all The property owners are outstanding. They are generous and responsive. Provided homemade cinnamon buns, fresh eggs, cream, bread, butter and jam. You can tell they love to help guests maximize their stay. The house is delightful. Right on the Yellowstone River. The towels, bedding and robes are of high quality. We were so happy there.

Fabulous Cabin

We loved the cabin! Located in the middle of Paradise Valley and right on the Yellowstone river. It was the perfect retreat after spending the day floating the river or seeing the sites of Yellowstone National Park.

Home away from home

Our stay at Paradise Gateway was amazing! Pete & Carol's hospitality is unmatched!! So many local insights to restaurants, maps & park secrets only the locals know about, and even where to go view a Mama Grizzly with her 3 cubs!! The cabin is beautiful, clean, cozy, washer/dryer is definitely a PLUS & the kitchen has everything you need to cook!! The cabin sits right on the Yellowstone River with sprawling views that can't be beat! Thank you Pete and Carol for opening up your home to our family. We can't wait to visit again soon.

Spectacular cabin right on the Yellowstone

Our stay with Carol and Pete was amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice just how beautiful the cabin and location is. Perfect jumping off point for Yellowstone and lots of fishing locations. Pete and Carol are fantastic hosts!

Just what we needed!

Our cabin was perfect. Cozy, clean, comfortable and you can’t beat the scenery. It was wonderful having a “base” that was close to so many things we wanted to see. We spent time in the park, the valley, local restaurants - 5 stars to the Outpost. Shopping in Livingston and Bozeman. It was a little too cool for rafting or fishing (we are Floridians) but we enjoyed every moment. Carol is so easy to work with. Our travel was a mess coming in, but she handled it and is very pleasant. We were able to talk with Pete (not enough!). I highly recommend this experience - we will be back.

Fishing Trip

I can't say enough about this place and the owners. Pete and Carol were amazing from the time we booked until after we left. They told us some local info on where to eat, where to fish, where to see the bears, and just about anything that we may want to do during the stay. The cabin itself was amazing. I hope to bring my family back in the future. The pictures and description of the area and cabin were great but the reality was even better. The views from the cabin both front and back made for a great time for a morning cup of coffee or an evening beverage. I will be back again and hope to make it to the evening campfire to sit around and enjoy time with the hosts. Pete & Carol - thank you for an amazing stay!!

Perfect family VRBO experience!

Our stay at Pete and Carol's place was fabulous. Very easy to reach from Bozeman airport, perfect location just outside Yellowstone north entrance, fully-stocked kitchen for cooking, lovely river and mountain views, comfortable beds, screened-in porch, VERY charming! Pete and Carol were amazing hosts, making sure every need was met and anticipated. Pete's knowledge of the park proved priceless, and each day we couldn't wait to get back and do some fishing in the Yellowstone river (walk outside and there it is!) My husband and son spent their free time casting into the river and caught several fish. We stayed for a week and never ran out of things to do. We will be back! Thank you Pete and Carol!

We loved staying here! Beautiful cabin by the river. Carol and Pete are the best hosts ever! Carols scones are to die for. Pete took us to see some grizzlies, we saw two. We will be back. Highly recommend staying here.

Paradise Valley 2022

This home is so very cozy (and clean) and the views are just breathtaking! The porch overlooking the Yellowstone River and Emigrant Peak was definitely the spot to be with our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. Although we could not get into Yellowstone as often as we'd wished, we filled our days with rafting, horseback riding, hiking, relaxing at the cabin and checking out the shops and restaurants in Bozeman, Livingston and Gardiner. The week that we were there, we were unable to book a commercial tour into the North Entrance of Yellowstone (the only way to access the national park from the North Entrance during the time that we were there), so we decided to get up early and drive to the West Entrance. It's very possible to do and we were well prepared - we woke up early and were on the road at 5 a.m. in order to be ahead of the traffic at the West Entrance gate. We had a cooler of food, snacks and water for an entire day. Sweatshirts, hats and sunscreen were also a must. But the most helpful thing we had, was a map of the park that Pete provided to us which highlighted the "must see" spots as well as the spots that are not as packed with tourists and the areas that we could skip if we were running short on time. Honestly, if we hadn't had that map and info, we'd probably have spent too much time wandering and would have never gotten to see as much as we had! Carol and Pete were so helpful and a bonus to this property! Definitely book this home if you want to be surrounded by mountains, have a sky full of sparkling stars at night (we could see the Milky Way!) and have friendly and knowledgable hosts that just love to make you feel at home and relaxed!!! Thank you Carol and Pete for making our week so relaxing and fun!! :)

Outstanding family vacation!!!!

We had an outstanding experience at this property, exceeding our expectations even after reading other glowing reviews. The setting is spectacular and the hospitality is as described - welcoming and attentive throughout the stay. We have stayed in enough rentals to know when owners care and the special touches throughout the cabin (robes, ample towels, local coffee/tea/bread and more) make it clear Carol and Pete want you to feel and home and enjoy. Cannot a better way to visit Montana and Yellowstone on our first of what will surely be many trips. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Wonderful hosts and property

My family spent 5 wonderful days at this location just after the flooding. We were concerned about being able to make it to the property due to the closures. Carol and Pete helped us navigate our way in with their local knowledge. Once there, the property was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. The property is right on the river and you can hear the calming waters from the cabin. The cabin had plenty of room for our family of four and the covered patio was the most used part of the house. Even though they had just been through one of the worst floods in the history of the valley, the property held up great. Our cabin was not damaged so don't be worried. Carol and Pete are such great hosts. Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh baked cookies, homemade granola, fresh bread from the local bakery and farm fresh eggs. Pete provided local knowledge of day hikes, fun activities to do and local restaurants. Even though the park was closed the entire time we were there, we had a great time going horseback riding, touring caverns, walking downtown Bozeman and hanging by the pool at Chico Hot Springs. There is plenty to do in the area even without the park so do not hesitate to come here for some rest and relaxation. There are local restaurants that all had great food. the Wildflower bakery was a hit for their pastries and drinks. There are also plenty of restaurants in Livingston which is a short beautiful drive up the rode. The place is so relaxing you could spend the whole day by the river reading a book enjoying some quiet time then hang at the fire pit for great conversation with Pete and Carol Do not let the park closure discourage you from booking this place as you will have a wonderful time whether you are looking just to relax or are looking to be active. Thanks to Carol and Pete for making our Yellowstone vacation memorable.
