Winter is Upon Us Reserve your White Mtn. Escape

Ski season is entering full swing. The Happy Cabin is ready for great ski weekend escapes and is secluded on a private 130 acre estate with no other buildings within a half a mile. Beautiful winter scenes abound. This cabin was built as a romantic escape and is only available to couples. Large stone fireplace, jacuzzi tub for two, large two person shower and more than cozy queen size bed await you for the perfect winter get-a-way in the White Mountains. AWD/4WD with snow tires is recommended.

Located just outside of town, up on the mountainside, the Happy Cabin affords the perfect balance of access to White Mountain amenities and the towns charm yet off by itself for added quiet.

This is perfect for those that enjoy the crisp winter ski season and midweek days are highly recommended as the ski areas tend to get very crowded over the weekends in the winter.

Remember, this is the whole house with everything you might expect in a house so no need to worry about bringing linens like some places. Everything is at the cabin and ready for you. And just so know, the water comes from a 600+ foot deep well and is cleaner than anything you will ever get in a bottle. Sorry Fiji, we tested :)

Nice place

Owner was great with communication. We had a major snowstorm and they plowed us out along with cleaning off my truck! The only issue is that there is no place to store your clothes. It would be nice to have hooks in the bathroom. Great location and very clean , highly recommended.

Great property as advertised host was very nice and attentive snowed the night before we left and her husband went above and beyond cleaning the snow even cleaned our vehicle will definitely book again when possible

Quiet and relaxing getaway

My wife and I stayed here for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We wanted a place where we could get away from our normal busy life schedules. We found it here in this nice, clean, quiet and comfy cabin. We enjoyed all the comforts and amenities they have to offer. We will definitely come back again sometime. It's a great getaway for 2.

Peaceful and Cozy

This cabin was secluded and quiet, while also being a short drive into town amenities. The property was well kept, had everything we could need, and was clean and comfortable. A wonderful weekend away spent here!

Great relaxing getaway

Great place to go off the beaten path for relaxation and quiet. The hosstess was amazing. Very clean. The fireplace was super romantic. My husband and i enjoyed ourselves very much. 5 stars. The one thing that would have put it over the top would have been a hot tub facing the mountains. Even still a great place for sure.

Clean, cute, cozy cabin

This is a lovely spot to stay, especially in October. Walking into the cabin feels like getting a hug. We enjoyed our stay there very much. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

Lovely Christmas getaway

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time here over the Christmas weekend. It was beautifully decorated and super clean and cozy! The owner went above and beyond. Couldn't ask for a better space to celebrate, we'll definitely be staying here again :).

North Woodstock Log Cabin

The cabin is great except that it needs a new mattress, the existing one sags and is uncomfortable. The couches look great with the bears on them and all but again they are not comfortable to sit on as they sag as well. All else was good!

Weekend getaway

Great cottage and host . Great views of mountain and sunrise / sunset. Perfect spot to stay if you want some privacy. Close to Kangamangus hiking , lost river gorge and downton Woodstock and downtown Lincoln.
