Remove this home owner! Ws never able to stay!

Dont book with this owner! I've never had such a bad experience coming to Puerto Penasco! We arrived in Rocky Point around 3pm and I advised the home owner when we crossed the border that we would be arriving in an hour. When we arrived in town I received a message that we can not stay at the house. She called and advise that we couldn stay at another house and then move to the original rental house the next morning because there was water damage and issues and she has people in the house working on it. Which that was already going to be a hassle being that we had a big group with us of 8 people. Why wouldn't you advise me ahead of time?! My sister also rented a house of hers and at that same moment(as I'm speaking to the home owner)gets a message that reservation was canceled and refunded so my sister and her group of 7 were left with no place to stay with no explanation. The owner said she would send me directions to other house in 5min and almost one hour later she finally called me back and sent me the directions. Unfortunately that was a bust cause we were given the run around for almost 4-5 hours and our whole day was wasted even given fake/incorrect door code. I told her I wanted a full refund and to cancel my stay with her. She said she would call me back and she never did. We had to drive around at 8-9pm on a busy weekend looking for a place to stay for a family group of 15 with kids. VRBO please remove this home owner to save others future trips to Rocky Point. Also this is my first and last time using VRBO I've never had this problem with other rental companies

Overall the place was good. The pool in the community was nice and had lots of seating areas. The beach was within walking distance. The water at the beach was amazing and surprisingly the beach was pretty clean. The condo/house did not sleep 12 people but more like 6 people. Location is literally 10-15 min drive to the malecón, which was a plus. Directions listed on reservations isn’t the actual address. It was kind of hard to find but there was security who was kind enough to show us the way. The condo could have been cleaned better in my opinion but it wasn’t bad. The shower and flooring could of used some scrubbing. A few item were kind of odd. For example; door in one of the bathrooms hit the toilet, shower door swung inwards and water pooled in one area but I suppose that’s another story. Overall a great area to take the family. It is away from the main tourist area but I preferred not to be near lots of other people. Lots off roads near for off road riding. My biggest complaint was the individual who was in charge of reservations. She was rude and non responsive to any emails/calls. Usually with contactless check ins for condos the check in instructions are sent a week or few days in advance. Coming from another country you want to ensure all your p’s and q’s are in order. She literally sent instructions the day of our check in. It shouldn’t have been that difficult for her to have told us they send instructions Day of. Over it was an ok stay though.

It’s not for 12 people

Beautiful place really comfortable family oriented place real clean too the only bad is that I got a place to acompásate 12 people and this place only had place for 9 people
