Our home is located in one of the quietest and friendliest neighborhoods in South Florida, on a divided street with palm trees and gumbo limbos lining the median, minutes from everything.

Walk to the beach, Publix supermarket, Worldfamous Houston's restaurant and bar, sushi, salons, yoga, authentic Italian deli and more. We lovingly remodeled this home over the last four years. Every room has been updated or completely gutted and redone with an open living area and serene bedrooms.

This is not your grandmother's beach house. We almost entirely re-furnished in a comfortable, modern style. Lounge on leather sofas in front of the high definition LCD screen or relax on memory foam mattresses in the bedrooms.

Enjoy our state of the art kitchen fit with a Viking oven and fisher and paykel range. Eat at the bar and chat with the chef, or sit down at the more formal dining room table.

The kitchen and living areas have French pattern brushed marble floors. The master bedroom has hand scraped maple hardwood flooring the other bedrooms are both Ipe a Brazilian exotic hardwood. The master suite has a king sized bed, ceiling fan, large closet and an en suite bathroom entirely done in marble and granite.

The shower has a showerhead with incredible water pressure to rinse away all the salt from the ocean.

The second bedroom also has a king sized bed, large closet and paddle ceiling fan. There is a tub in the second bathroom for those who prefer to soak. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and the forth bedroom doubles as a home office with a curtain for privacy and has a Queen-size fold out couch-bed and ceiling fan. All the pillows are down and feather with feather duvets and Egyptian cotton linens for ultimate comfort.
For those of you who like to stay connected or have work to catch up on, there is high speed wi-fi through the house.

The Florida room, which is wrapped in screened windows has a large table for casual dining or a late-night poker game. Full size washer and dryer are available for your
use!
Beach towels, bath towels and all paper products are provided. This is the perfect home for a beach get away with your family or a couple of friends. We ask that you enjoy our home with common sense and please, never, smoke inside!

Walk to beautiful Pompano beach, boat rentals, fishing charters, diving/snorkeling trips, waterfront restaurants, pubs, ice cream parlor, Walgreens pharmacy, convenience store, Banks, ATM, fishing pier, and more. Nearby gourmet fresh fish market, salons, grocery stores.

The Local Movieco 18 screen cinema is 5 mins. Pompano Harness Race Track and Casino (newly renovated is 5 minutes west. 1 mile to public golf course (lighted holes for night golfing). Executive Airport, 5 minute drive. Ft. Lauderdale airport is a 20-minute drive and elite Las Olas Boulevard, with the finest restaurants and boutiques, is a short 15- minute drive.

Ft. Lauderdale Beach Place is south on A1A approx. 14 minutes. Dania Jai-lai is nearby as well and provides for a fun filled exciting evening. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is about 25
minutes south. Broward Center of the Performing Arts is near Las Olas and they have Broadway Musicals/Shows during all seasons.

Many restaurants have special dinner theater menus both pre and post show. As an alternative to the Ft. Lauderdale airport, the West Palm Beach airport is about 35 minutes drive and at times has discounted fares. Since Pompano Beach is between Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton it is truly the best place to be to visit both. And should you want to explore Miami's South Beach, or dine at the world famous Joe's Stonecrab Restaurant, the drive is about 45 minutes south on I-95.

If you like canoeing or kayaking the Loxahatche river 1 hour away in West Palm Beach is a trip full of Florida's beautiful fauna and natural wildlife. The beautiful Florida Keys are a 2 -4 hour drive depending how far you'd like to go. No matter your interests, there is always plenty to do or not to do depending on your mood.

Owner is planning on a future expansion by adding an vintage airstream experience with a separate entrance located on the east side of the property it will be able to sleep two comfortably, currently it is slowly under renovation until completion. On occasion when in town the owner will be staying there and park his car on the east side of the drive.
If this causes any concern please ask as I might not be around during your stay, means an alternative maintenance handyman will be on call!!! We are planning many upgrades including new roof new impact windows and upgrading on the landscaping. The owner is not working on any noisy remodeling work during guests stay hence longer projects!!! For certain projects ie Roof and windows the calendar will be blocked for duration of noisy work!!!
If you have questions about completion or any concerns please don’t hesitate to ask!!!
Due to the owner no longer doing Turo (a car rental app) There are two temporary covered stored cars and a cargo trailer on the west side of the drive! They will be gone once sold! Please ask if you have any questions about that there is still plenty of parking for three cars!

Nice, great location

Nice quiet neighborhood with a half mile walk to beach. Beach is beautiful with plenty of parking. The owner was always there for anything we needed. Inside was nice but we would have liked a bigger back yard. Very close to everything.

Great house!

The house is comfortable, clean and less than a 5 minute drive to the beach. We had 3 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. Lance was easy to work with and responded quickly any time we contacted him. Highly recommend!

Great location, nice updates inside, could be nicer with some improvements

Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and beach. Inside of house is nice and updated. Needs to remove Cars’s and trailer from driveway,, cut down overgrown bushes in the front of the house, needs to improve backyard and outside sitting area. Need more TV channels. (There is only like 3).

Great Location-Beautiful Interior!

We were fortunate to stay in the house this winter (to beat the cold in NC) for a little over 3 weeks! This house is in a great location. Bring your bikes and you can ride anywhere you need to go! (there is a great belgium beer "pub" very close by!) Very quiet neighborhood. Interior of the house is great..Owner did fabulous job of refurbishing kitchen, floors, appliances, etc. (very upscale!) Beds and furniture extremely comfortable. Owner was also very accommodating and flexible! I would recommend the house for a long-term or weekly stay!

Dear Lance,Thank you so much for the wonderful experience we had at your VRBO home. Our stay was truly top-notch, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our holiday. We really appreciated your responsiveness when we had a couple of questions—your timely communication was much appreciated.The kitchen was fully outfitted with high-end appliances, which made cooking a pleasure. The space was not only ample but also spotless, making us feel right at home. What we were looking for

This house is in a great location and has a very nice layout. We liked the fact that two bedrooms had king sized beds. I found it extremely odd that all of the windows on the east side of the house are blacked out. Very dark in the back bedroom and kind of weird. There are two Airstreams on either side of the house blocked off by a wood fence. I didn’t know what to i think of that other than the owner must stay in one when guests are in his house. There are two cars covered in front of the house along with a small trailer, these were not in any of the pictures when i booked. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the house was clean and nicely furnished but i would not book again.

Beautiful home in a great location!!

This property was a great place to stay before boarding a cruise ship. The Ft Lauderdale port was about 30 minutes away. There were three main beds to choose from. Each has a unique feature. Low mattress, high mattress, and medium height. The low mattress slopes with your head in the downward direction. Lance was very welcoming, and communication was good despite the fact that the VRBO app was not working properly. Lance texted me, but since my phone had no data, we didn’t receive his text. So communication issues were not his fault. The hot tub is set at 100 degrees. The kitchen was well stocked. There were many wonderful restaurants nearby, and the beach was a 15 minute walk. We appreciated the beach towels that were provided. We did experience an odd ticking noise in one bedroom which we realized was the electric door lock signifying that the battery needed to be changed.

Should be listed as a 3 bedroom, not 4

It was clean & has lots of seating, I'll give them that. There are only 3 beds, not 4 - a pull out sofa doesn't count as a bed, they should've described it as such. We needed 4 bedrooms, not 3 bedrooms with a curtain separating 2 sleeping areas, that couch in the office being one of them. The hot tub didn't get hot. 1 tv for everyone to share. No body wash. No k-cups for the Keurig.

Exactly Perfect

Everything about Lance’s property was exactly as advertised. There were six of us traveling and plenty of room for all of us. Nice large gathering areas, super close to the beach (5 min walk), safe neighborhood and great kitchen. Lance was super responsive to any questions or needs. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a Pompano or Fort Lauderdale beach vacation

2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, + Den + Office

This is a true 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Home. The 3rd "Bedroom" is a mudroom behind the built-in garage that was converted into a "bedroom" and is co-located with a Washer Dryer behind a curtain. The 4th "Bedroom" is an office with a couch. The 3rd and 4th "bedrooms" are located between the kitchen and garage and share a door off the kitchen. A curtain separates the office (4th room) since the 3rd and 4th rooms share an entrance. The built-in garage was locked and not available for use. The owner came by the house during the week to load/unload items from his cargo van into the garage. Parking was adequate for our 1 vehicle. The owner kept 2 cars plus a cargo van in the driveway. The black Subzero refrigerator in the kitchen is non-working. The light switches are Lutron Maestro Dimmer & Switch, which we could not figure out how to operate. The one TV is an HP Plasma TV built 2005. TV had basic cable only. There was a Roku 2, however, the remote did not work. I would recommend upgrading the TV and add cable service. The 2nd bathroom off the hallway does not have electrical outlets to plug in a hair dryer, etc. The hot tub located outside had a broken temperature knob and we could not adjust to our desired temperature so we stopped using. The detailed description in the listing was fairly accurate if read closely. We were traveling with 4 adults who were expecting to have their own bedroom and bed. The fact that there were only 3 beds was not clearly communicated during a lengthy phone conversation with the owner prior to booking. The night before check-out we were given a lengthy 11 step checklist which we followed fully and completely to avoid being assessed additional fees and penalties per the owner’s warning. Despite the high Cleaning Fee collected at time of booking, we were asked to go above and beyond the cleaning what one would do of a typical VRBO. We spent hours the morning of checkout to wash towels, dishes, clean hot tub, and take out trash and recycling, in order to return the home spot-less to the owner. A recommendation would be to change the listing title of “Luxury 4 BR” as this was neither luxury or a true 4 bedroom home. I recommend the owner be a little more relaxed with regards to check-out instructions. I understand the owner’s need to protect himself from potential theft or damage, but the 11 step checkout list could offend responsible adults who would otherwise keep this home in excellent condition.

Cute little beach house!

The house was spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone (6 adults). Lance, provided us with everything we needed (soap, towels, etc). We had an issue at the very beginning, but the owner took care of it immediately. He answered all our questions and it was great to work with him! The house was very close to the beach and lots of stores and shops. It is a beautiful area and the neighbors were so friendly. We would love to go back!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay . Lance was at the house to greet us and show us the ropes. Our only complaint were the beds. From the pictures, I could not tell that two of them were very low (about 8 inches from the ground). 5 of the adults that stayed at the house were over 65. Having the beds so low was not an easy thing. Otherwise everything was great. The kitchen was awesome . We are only waiting now for our deposit to be returned. We left the house in great shape and feel that we should get it back. Thanks Lance for a great stay.

Fantastic House minutes from the BEAUTIFUL BEACH!

We stayed a full month in this beautiful home and we absolutely loved it! You can walk to many shops, LOADS of restaurants, pubs, bars, fitness centers, yoga, the beautiful beaches and so much MORE! You do not need a car while you are here unless you plan on traveling outside the area. Lance is an amazing host, super friendly and makes you feel like family. Everything you need is in this beautiful home: beach chairs, umbrellas, kids beach toys (buckets, shovels, beach bags, castle molds for building sand castles etc), ever kitchen gadget you can imagine, washer and dryer, BBQ grills (one gas and one charcoal), awesome hot tub in the backyard, pool table, comfortable beds and awesome pillows (we all slept so well here) and anything else you can imagine! We felt just like we were in our own home. My husband and myself stayed here with our 12 year old children and our fur baby and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We walked over to the beach many times and watched the beautiful sunrise, we walked to Sushi, Flanigans, Houstons, Publix, Ice Cream Parlor and so much more...we had a lot of GREAT/QUALITY family time in this home and we are really going to miss it. You will love it here and I must say you will be addicted and never want to leave!! Thank you Lance for allowing us to experience your wonderful home, we will be back! I contacted Lance multiple times for somewhat mundane items during our stay, and he responded very quickly and respectfully every time. We were very comfortable with 8 people (4 adults, 4 kids) sleeping and eating there, as well as relaxing. The neighborhood, as shown in the picture with the palm trees, was nice and quiet. It's close to everything we needed (you could walk if it wasn't too hot), but didn't feel like we were on top of anything. It was very easy to get to. The house was nicely laid out and very comfortable and clean. The pictures are accurate, but the angle at which they were taken made it seem larger than it is. It was simply and nicely decorated, with much of it obviously having been updated recently. (The second bathroom however, still needs some tub work.) We liked that there was no carpeting, as we have someone with allergies, and we didn't have to worry about the kids spilling. The only thing that is missing from the listing is that the third bedroom has been converted into a bedroom, and therefore has no windows. My sister got some great sleep in there since it was so dark!

Renting from Lance is like renting from a friend. He is the nicest, kindest, friendliest, most helpful and flexible owner I have ever rented from. When something needs addressed he is on it right away. He himself did the remodeling of the house, has great pride in it and makes sure it is well cared for. As for the location... I vote pompano beach the best beach in broward county. During my stay I would get on one of the bikes at the house, strap on my yoga mat and take a .6 of a mile enjoyable ride to the beach. This beach has been newly renovated and has a great kids play park, sprinkler park, a beach front circuit training area for fitness lovers....like an outdoor gym, wonderful and abundant grassy areas that I found perfect for yoga, many bathrooms and refreshment stands. The beach itself is perfection. After the beach it was so nice to come home to the cozy bungalo. The furniture is new and clean. The house is very nicely decorated and not over cluttered like many are. The kitchen is well stocked with the coolest stove that faces the living area. A very unique house. The beds are delux and make it so you feel like it would be nice to sleep all day. The back yard is fenced in with a private feel. A cool feature is a slack line in the back yard. One walks on it to build core strength and balance. The house is in a beautiful and very safe feeling neighborhood. Of all the great things I have to say about this rental the one that has left the greatest impression on me is the owner Lance. It is wonderful to rent from an owner who really cares.

Great!

This property was everything I expected and more. The owner was available at all times, very easy instructions to get into the property. Sleeps 8 adults comfortable, if needed there is sleeping arrangements for a baby. I'm a cooker so I was in love with the kitchen (beautiful). We didn't use the hot tub because the beach was very close but the hot tub was a nice size (large) and very clean. I would definitely rent this property again!!!

Peace in Pompano

We had a surprisingly peaceful stay during high season in Pompano beach! The house is incredibly spacious and was perfectly comfortable for our visit with 5 adults and 2 children. Everything was clean and the home is appointed with modern decor. The kids especially loved the bongo drums! The neighborhood is lovely and incredibly quiet yet close to everything we needed. Lance was very easy to deal with and made the rental process seamless. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Great stay for relaxing girls weekend

My group of girlfriends and I had a wonderful weekend at this home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the owner was very accessible whenever we bugged him with texts/questions :) The only downside to the property is there's not really any good outdoor social space except the hot tub and the sunroom, which doesn't really have much in the way of lounging space. But the beach and other amenities (Starbucks, Publix, liquor store) were an easy walk. Hot tub was awesome, neighborhood was quiet. Pompano beach itself was perfect for us--beautiful beach with things to do, but not tacky or overwhelmed by tourists. Close enough drive (5 minutes) to more nightlife hot spots. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Vacation Home!

Great house in a quiet neighborhood. The home is clean and very well maintained. The location is excellent. It is very close to shops and the beach. We were able to walk to the beach with the whole family. The kitchen is amazing!! Great communication with the owner throughout the entire rental process. We highly recommend staying at this house!!
