Le chat Vert, a bright and modern 2-room apartment

The accommodations are perfect for couples, solo travelers or business trips, close to the city center, the Zenith de Strasbourg in an old Alsatian type house.
The accommodations are a private part of our main accommodation, it consists of a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom with new mattress and bathroom.
Bright, comfortable and nice. Our house is in an environment that seems to be in the countryside but right in the city, close to all public transportation to reach the city center in less than ten minutes. We also have two cats who live with us.
Tram An and D 50 meters away (rotunda station), one station from the train station, three stations from the city center. 20 minutes walk from the city center. Main road some cable.
All small shops are less than a kilometer away, bakery, supermarket, grocery store, post office, hairdresser, restaurant. The accommodation does not have private parking but free street parking or paid parking all a hundred meters from the accommodation.

This is an excellent place to stay in Strasbourg. It’s so close to the Gare and across the street from the tram. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was perfect with a big shower and towel warmer. The host was great with communication. We stayed 5 nights and loved every minute of it. It’s in a guiet neighborhood and close to a boulangerie and small grocery stores. We will definitely stay again if we come to Strasbourg.again.

Very nice apartment with friendly host and excellent location

a lovely, clean and well equipped apartment. The host is very friendly, we enjoyed our stay here very much. The location is fabulous, highly recommended.

Excellent value and location

Friendly and helpful host living upstairs. Great location for tram, restaurants and local shops but very quiet as well.

Wonderful place to stay to explore Strasbourg

Perfect in every way. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, large walk in shower and all the amenities to rest and relax. Kitchen area perfect for light meals with good sized fridge, electric hob and microwave. Cannot fault and thoroughly recommend Hosts so friendly and welcoming.

Pefect Place for my Stay

I was in Strasbourg for work. The location was ideal being one stop on the tram from the train station and then of course allowing me to get most anywhere I needed from there. The host was super as I was met at the gate and then shown the space. It was very well appointed, quiet, private, close enough to a smaller market for shopping. All in all a wonderfull stay.

Pleasant February Stay at Le Chat Vert

Ewhen, who manages the property, was a welcoming and gracious host (and speaks four languages!). Convenient little spot right by the Rotonde tram stop, ten minutes by tram away from the city center and closer to the train station. Cozy and clean, with soap and coffee packets included. We slept well!

I didn't think the pictures quite did justice to this property. It was a very charming home away from home. It is right across from the tram station, and the tram system is easy and comfortable to use. It is one stop from the train station and about ten minutes to the old city.The hostess and her son were friendly, charming, and helpful. We had a fun time trying to communicate through google translate as my french is not all it should be. But, she was very patient, and checked in occasionally to offer suggestions and make sure I was enjoying my stay. There is no AC, but this really didn't matter, even though it was an intense heatwave (37 degrees most days). The old house and fans kept things remarkably cool.I would certainly return if I got the chance.

The property is a typical alsatian house, really unique and reminded me of fairy tails because of its external decorations. The apartment was well equipped with everything, all the things to cook and prepare hot beverages and food are present. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Everything was stored tidily, all the extra towels, kitchen cloth, trash bags etc. Everything was clean and tidy and the owner was really kind and open to communication. What I didn't enjoy were: the wind chime attached to the door and the fact that I struggled to turn the key of the main entrance from the outside; the drain in the shower should be unclogged a little bit more frequently because it tends to spill water fast; I would have liked to know in advance that the washing machine detergent was not included. But overall I really enjoyed the stay and the apartment was really cozy and comfortable.

Bien situé à quelques stations de tram du centre historique et à une station de la gare ferrovière. Les hôtes sont sur place, sont prévenants et donnent de bons conseils sur la ville et la région. L'appartement comprend tout le nécessaire, est propre et est très silencieux. Une excellente boulangerie-pâtisserie est à quelques pas.

Schöne Tage in Straßburg

Wir waren zu zweit für 4 Nächte in dem Appartement Le chat vert. Wir hatten meistensKontakt mit der freundlichen Mutter des Vermieters (spricht deutsch). Wohnung wurde vor drei Jahren modernisiert und hat daher schönes Bad und Küche mit allem was man braucht (kein Backofen, aber Mikrowelle, Geschirrspülmaschine und Waschmaschine). Keine Terrasse, aber Garten-nutzung möglich. Lage ideal. 30 m zu Straßenbahn und dann 7 Min. in die Innenstadt (Tagesticket 4,80) oder 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad. Vielen Dank nochmal an Mme. Grunik und ihren Sohn. Wir kommen wieder.

Tout c’est très bien passé. Nous avons été bien accueilli par les propriétaires qui étaient à l’écoute et apportent de bons conseils sur la ville. Hébergement proche du Tram. Nous avons été sastisfait de notre séjour.Nous le conseillons sans problème.

Location idéale !

Tout est parfait : l'accueil chaleureux de Denise et de son fils; la maison verte super bien située, à deux pas du tram; le grand silence en pleine ville; l'équipement plus que complet de l'appartement, qui paraît petit mais en réalité est d'un grand confort, avec tous les rangements nécessaires, la salle de douche très bien conçue....Vraiment formidable !

Le cocon

Sommes venus en juillet et avons été super bien accueilli. L'endroit est très bien aménagé avec tout le confort et la tranquillité espérés à deux pas du centre ville et de toutes commodités. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir... Au moins aussi pour prendre des nouvelles. Merci pour tout.

Nouvel an à Strasbourg

Ma compagne et moi avons passé 2 nuits dans ce super logement. Proche du tramway et du centre ville, le logement est propre et fonctionnel. Je recommande vivement :)

Aufenthalt vom 16.-20. Oktober 2023

Wir wurden sehr freundlich in der Wohnung empfangen und haben dort alles Notwendige vorgefunden. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und das Haus nur eine Station vom Bahnhof entfernt. In die Innenstadt gibt es eine direkte Tramlinie. Die Wohnung hat sogar einen Aussensitzplatz, den wir aber wegen des kalten Wetters nicht benutzen konnten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Danke.
