Privacy, comfort, and splashing fountains lie behind the motorized gates, so everyone will be spoiled before they even step foot inside. Upon entering this home away, you will be greeted by an open floorplan connecting living, dining, and kitchen into one grand space. Two sets of french doors off the living room join the outdoors and pool into one large entertaining space as well, so mingling with loved ones will be a breeze both indoors and outside. The private backyard will be the hub on warm summer days with a pool/spa, mature landscaping, and mountain views. Plus, the remodeled gourmet kitchen boasts a large, moveable island, a gas range, and all of the utensils of home to make any recipe a breeze!

WHAT'S NEARBY
Sitting in an excellent location in the eclectic Mesa neighborhood of south Palm Springs, this will be the perfect jumping-off point for any kind of vacation. A morning hike is a mile away at Tahquitz Canyon, so pack some tennis shoes and catch a unique glimpse of the valley in no time. When you want to check out the hustle and bustle of downtown, just hop onto S. Palm Canyon Drive and grab a bite to eat or pop into the local boutiques that make this city so unique.

THINGS TO KNOW

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool and pool spa. A fee of USD 72 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool and pool spa heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Grecian getaway!

We enjoyed this home from the moment we came thru the front gate! The welcoming blue glass of the front door into a spacious entry. Lots of light throughout and open and airy! The backyard is so peaceful. The pool was so relaxing. We also enjoyed the sound of the water fountain and fruit trees lining the fence. Bedrooms were comfortable. Living room offered enough room for everyone to sit & chat. Couches were a comfortable place to take an afternoon nap! Home was close to downtown & grocery store. We enjoyed our time at the Alhambra!

Great property and well appointed

We visited for a long weekend and this place fit the bill perfectly. It is close enough to everything yet still at an arms length to afford some peace and quiet. The property has all the amenities you could possibly need and then some. Plus, check in and out were seamless. Will def be back!

Lovely Property

Super clean and tons of natural light. Pool was perfect and the neighborhood is right off the main strip. Very spacious. The pillows weren’t super comfortable so if you can bring your own I’d recommend it. Pool cleaning is stated to happen on a Wednesday but we came back to a pool cleaner in the backyard mid-day Saturday that startled us. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!

Mid Century Modern

Well, where to start. The rental agent company did a really great job with communications. The house was very clean on our arrival. Problems with the couches had been fixed by replacing with new couches. Ice maker worked. As noted in the property description the kitchen had been updated. The shower in the master bedroom had also been updated. New washer/dryer. Wireless was OK, but TV had some buffering issues. The house is a mid century modern in a quiet private location. It is really not within walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. 5 minute drive. Looks like the propane BBQ in the backyard is new. The pool and hot tub looked original. You either heat the pool or the hot tub but not both at the same time. You have to access the pool equipment and controls through a separate fenced and gated area. That is where you switch the heater from pool to hot tub and also turn on the jets to the hot tub. Jets are working and are quite strong. You also need to change the valves next to the pool to where you want the heat to go. Those are the highlights. The interior of the house has little, if any personality. There are no pictures, photos or art. The furniture (excluding the new couches) looks like it came from second hand stores. Bedspreads were functional but not attractive. Heat works in parts of the house but some vents are blocked off, It reminds me of a bank owned property. This could be a great rental, but it really needs new furniture, a couple of more TV's and efficient pool heating equipment. At that point it might justify the rental costs.

Great location and felt like home away from home!

The house had great air conditioning! The house was super clean and the Vacasa team was on hand 24/7 to help resolve any issue that popped up. The rooms were spacious and had great linens. We loved and lived in the pool for most of our stay. The only reason I gave the rental 4 stars and not 5 stars was that the couches were a bit lumpy and probably should be replaced but we made do and we were mainly in the pool for our stay.

Fantastic place

The house/property is very quiet and private. Quiet and private is exactly what we were looking for. I'd recommend this house if you're also looking for quiet and private. The house was clean. Plenty of extra towels and other supplies. The shower heads could be better. Not a lot pressure and clogged. The AC worked very well except in the master bedroom. It didn't cool off in there like the rest of the house. There's a separate AC in the master that somewhat works. Not as hot as if there were no AC but not as cool as the rest of the house. The pool was nice. The pool is shaded in the morning and evening so it's perfect if you don't want to get a sunburn. You can swim without the sun blazing down on you. The wifi at this house is absolutely terrible. There's one TV in the house. It's a smart TV but you can't even watch anything like Netflix because it just looks Pixelated or it buffers constantly. The couches were almost impossible to sit on. The most uncomfortable seating ever. Uncomfortable couches and terrible wifi means you really can't watch tv. There really isn't much else to do at this house except swim. If you're wanting things to do other than swim make sure to bring your own board games or whatever activities you like. Overall it's not a bad place for a nice getaway to relax by the pool.

Beautiful Private Quiet home

We Loved the home, But, I saw the previous reviews in April. Well, those repairs were never fixed! The worst couch, sitting on springs, never repaired. TV and Internet are horrible! TV did not work, it searches for a signal every few minutes. We tried watching a movie, but the signal went out after 10 minutes and closed the movie. I tried calling management three times, no one ever returned my call!!! Only one TV in the whole house. The Master Bedroom was too warm to sleep in. No ceiling fan and no air conditioning duct in the bedroom? There is a wall air conditioner in a room next to the master, but not strong enough to cool the Master bedroom in July! The pool was cloudy when we arrived, management said the pool company just left 2 hrs before we arrived? The pool man came 2 days later for complete service, he never came Monday? It is a Beautiful home, but these repairs need to be fixed as reported four months prior.

The home is well located and convenient. It is spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool is very nice. The kitchen and other conveniences were ample and appreciated. We had a problem with the internet and TV but Vacasa made that right! The living room furniture is not very comfortable but then again we were not there all that much.

Beautiful home with pool, but not family friendly

This is a great house in a quiet neighborhood, very close to Downtown Palm Springs. But it's not recommended for families as the couches were so uncomfortable, it was hard to sit on them and be comfortable. The glass tables kept sliding and we thought they'd break! The internet was slow and there's a pool but don't feel free to swim in it unless you're going for a silent swim. Our kids were playing and splashing (not screaming) but we got noise complaints. Unfortunately, not the relaxing vacation we were hoping for.

Good home in a private neighborhood

This was a large, clean home located in a quiet and private neighborhood. Pros were the large rooms and kitchen, perfect air conditioner, along with a perfect size pool. Cons were a couch that was in need of repair, no hair dryers or kleenex in bathrooms, and one pool lawn chair. Needed more furniture to lay on in the sun.
