Brand new inground pool ready for 2026 Summer!

Liberty Lodge is an off-property lodge in Rockbridge, just a 24-minute drive from The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, including Kindred Spirits, the spa and the gift shop. Located in the northern portion of the Hocking Hills, Liberty Lodge provides convenient access to area attractions, with most trails only 3 - 25 minutes away by car with Cantwell Cliffs being the closest. While each accommodation sits on it's own private lot, Liberty Lodge can be paired with Bison Lodge to keep larger groups close together.

Liberty Lodge was absolutely beautiful, perfect for our large group! It was such a short drive from Columbus and all the roads we nicely plowed for us to arrive safely at night. We loved being the seclusion of the land and home. We will definitely be back to celebrate in the future and had great communication with the property management group. This is a 5 star location & stay!

Fall Family Trip

Great Time with large group

The property is as advertised, we had a great time and all the amenities were available for use. The space was clean and had plenty of space if you're getting a large group together for a fun weekend.

Family friendly getaway!

We were able to bring together 8 families for some quality time over a long weekend. Everyone was entertained. The kids loved the bunk rooms and the ping pong table. The adults took advantage of the comfortable couches for group video games and naps.

Great house

There were 13 of us for a family reunion staying this weekend. We all had such a great time. Very comfortable for all of us. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. We would stay here again. My only suggestion would be handrails on steps to downstairs and a way off the back deck if there were a fire.

Annual family Christmas celebration

Was an amazing property. Lots of comfy beds, quality towels and all the necessary amenities. Internet was spotty which made watching football difficult. Definitely need some outdoor lights. Even some solar lights along the path to parking would be helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Surprise birthday weekend

This was the perfect place to host a weekend getaway with friends. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and pulled off a fun surprise. The property had everything we needed and plenty of space where everyone could gather as a group. There are a lot of very specific rules associated with the property, so I would be mindful of that!

Fun at the big house

We arrived on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Left on Sunday. It is not doable for 20 to sit together. That is during cold and in lent weather. Every one loved big shower. However no chair grab bar for elderly. No good for 90t year olds or people on crutches. Outside on grounds someone had dumped food …green beans and yams? Noticed on last day. Too cold to go out Had a great time.

Four Gen Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge is beautiful, clean, and has a lot of spacious bedrooms and family time space. We found fun local activities and enjoyed games at the lodge. Also, what a great view of the June “strawberry moon”! The only thing I would note is that the stairs are a bit steep (for anyone with mobility issues) - this includes stairs leading to the porch and in the interior of the house; and the master bath has no handrail. Also, if you have toddlers, bring something to block the staircases. The back decks are fully enclosed which was great, so no worries for little ones there. (Note to Lodge caretakers - take a look at the refrigerator; the flap on the left door does not attach properly at the top unless you fix it by hand which lets the cold air seep out and spoils the milk. Should be a simple thing to fix.) Thanks for the quick responses to questions. We had a fabulous time. I would recommend the property to others!

Liberty Lodge is the perfect space for your family or group of friends. With its large great room on the main floor and a separate rec room with a pool table and a ping pong table, there is plenty for everyone to do. It has a very large yard for kids to play in and multiple decks. there is an 8-person hot tub outside on the main deck. This lodge is situated on the same road as our Pine hollow Lodge and our Bison Lodge. The 3 could be rented together for a family reunion. We do not allow large bachelor or bachelorette parties or parties with live music or a DJ. There is law enforcement close by and they monitor this for us.

With its large great room on the main floor and a separate rec room with a pool table and a ping pong table, there is plenty for everyone to do. It has a very large yard for kids to play in and multiple decks. there is an 8-person hot tub outside on the main deck. This lodge is situated on the same road as our Pine hollow Lodge and our Bison Lodge. The 3 could be rented together for a family reunion. We do not allow large bachelor or bachelorette parties or parties with live music or a DJ. There is law enforcement close by and they monitor this for us.
