The house has a very chic interior, almost charming. However, getting into the house is challenging for an elderly person with unsure footing. The entry is not ADA compliant, with 6 narrow uneven steps and no handrail.The description should have mentioned the delicate plumbing, with signs posted advising to not flush toilet paper. Instead, it is necessary to deposit feces-laden paper into a trash bag. Ewww.I also noticed there are no smoke alarms, anywhere in the house Apparently, Clifton has no building codes.We will not be back.

I am so sorry you had some issues with our place. Those front steps are a concrete slab into our home very sturdy. We do not have city sewer being in a rural area. We are all on septic systems, that was the reason for the sign in the restrooms about the toilet paper. The smoke detectors are the same color as the walls and located above each bedroom entrance/exit in working condition. A fire extinguisher sign on the hall closet door with fire extinguisher inside. We appreciate your stay, your comments as we are always striving to do better. Thank you The Nelsons.

Great place and clean. Just didn’t like that I didn’t get to meet the host.

Wanted to stay few more nights but had to get back home.

Absolutely would recommend this property.

Clean, spacious, comfortable beds easy access to lake, great covered porch, firepit in backyard was a plus plus! Not a negative thing to say about this property family and I enjoyed!
