Room for improvement
We had a lovely holiday and the property is a good size and in a quiet location. It’s near many beautiful places to visit.
However, we feel that the original part of the house is quite tired needs some updating.
The kitchen needs attention. The fridge is very old and took a few days to get to a temperature that kept our food cold enough.
Please be aware that the property does not have WiFi and we had confused messages about this. With teens and with work commitments, this was a bit of a problem for us.
There is also no washing machine and as we are a sporty family, this was also difficult. Most families would struggle for more than a few days without a machine.
The house has two old toilets but only one shower and no bath. Again, this might be a problem for larger groups and families.
This property also charges quite a lot extra for bedding and towels and so we took our own.
The newer part of the house with the games room and pool table was great.
