Escape to the sun and sand at Rain Dancer #2, a beautifully updated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo just a short stroll from the beach. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a trip with friends, this charming coastal retreat offers comfort, convenience, and island vibes all in one.

The open-concept living room invites you to relax with plenty of seating and a large flat-screen TV with cable. The adjoining kitchen and dining area are perfect for entertaining, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and all the cookware and essentials you need to prepare delicious meals. Step outside to your private patio, complete with an outdoor dining table and grill, ideal for enjoying the warm island breeze over a backyard barbecue. For added convenience, the condo includes WiFi, cable, and a washer/dryer for guest use.

The spacious Master bedroom features a plush King bed, flat-screen TV, and a private ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom is perfect for additional guests, offering two comfortable Queen beds and its own flat-screen TV. A second full bathroom with a walk-in shower is conveniently located for shared access from both the guest room and living areas.

Every stay at Rain Dancer Condominiums includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a few personal favorites such as beach towels, sunscreen, extra blankets, bottled water, or baby items. These small extras will make your stay even more relaxing and worry-free.

Perfect location. Had a great time there!

Perfect location for walking to the beach, restaurants, and other attractions. Great spot for nightlife also, several local bars. The condo was very spacious and clean. Nice private back patio and a nice swimming pool in front. Had a great time there!

Lovely home away from home, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a very nicely appointed living/dining/kitchen space. The kitchen has all the tools you will need, including a toaster oven! The patio area out back with a grill is a super option, and the pool was very pleasant and fun for the kids.

Son's birthday Vacay

This condo is #1 on our list for SPI, it was a beautiful well equipped condo. My family and I really enjoyed using the wagon and chairs for the beach ⛱️ that is literally a 1/2 block away. It's location is perfect, close to stores and several restaurants. My children enjoyed the pool and the board games. Overall our experience was Great, i truly recommend staying with SPI Rentals. They value their customers and are flexible if possible. I look forward on to booking again. Thank you SPI Rentals!

Inconvenience

Bed in spare bedroom was very poorly built and broke when son sat on edge of bed. Bed was holding on with one tiny screw. It took all day to fix and we had 3 different men trying to fix it. Not exactly comfortable leaving strangers in our condo while we went to the beach. Plus they didn't clean up after they left. Nothing was disinfected. As much as we paid in cleaning fees they should have at least sprayed lysol in the room. Dishwasher was broken too and couldn't be fixed. Dirty water leaked all over the kitchen.

In regards to the dishwasher, unfortunately, a part was required to make the repair which we were not able to get during your stay. First off let me say that the rental property team was excellent and very professional. They gave us a great price and some incentives to make our stay more comfortable. Upon arrival the condo is located in a great and safe area. The interior was roomy and very comfortable. All rooms were spacious to include the restrooms. Once we got comfortable, unpacked and started getting ready for dinner we noticed the lack of cleanliness. The dishes still had food on them, the towels had to be rewashed as they were still stains on them. Pans had food caked on. The floor had patches of sand. Living room was dirty with rice and other food on the carpet. The final issue was on our second day we found a colony of ants on the stove cook top.These issues were reported and the ant problem was addressed. We're a humble family and dont wish to bash your company, we just think if these issues are addressed you would have a top notch condo. Maybe a new cleaning team. Other than that the place was great and would consider staying there again.

Nightmare trip

5/31-Day of trip 3 hours in,phone call from spi rentals who rent property we picked isnt available due to a leak found by the hoa. We had to pull over with family to pick somewhere to stay. Wouldn’t have been an issue to pick something else through but had to pick a place through spi rentals and was quite limited in choices in the bracket they gaveus.Veryupsetting/Delayed us an hour. my autistic toddler was very restless and I needed to get back on the road. dilemma is when we pick a place it is fitted for the needs of all but especially our 4yr autistic son who is very danger prone when it comes to running off and water related places/ . So I need a ground floor when carrying him or he tries to dart and a place with the door knobs not handles because that is the safety lock covers I had brought. a pool with a gate like other autistic kids he is drawn to water and a big worry he will get out a door and go immediately for water. The 1st place we had was a no go door wise and also electrical issues and knats/gross smell. Was 2nd fl/big parking lot to cross. I was crying due to the stress of what ifs. my son already going out the sliding/handle doors. Moved to next place and it was clean/w door handles and pool gate but 2nd fl and full beds for hubs and I and two teens. Exhausted going upstairs for 2nd location. I tried Vrbo to give us something to fit needs and rep says only if we aren’t offered another by rental. We should get what we pay for to meet our needs. Was awful time

Accommodations were fine. Some noise in surrounding area but it all was quiet by 11:00. We would have preferred the Rain Dancer on Retama. No shower rugs - not a good idea! Would have been nice to have one blanket in case air conditioning was too cold.

It’s a great place, the amenities, spacious rooms and great location.

A family getaway, this place was perfect for us. Everything was awesome, we just had some issues with parking when you have more than 2 vehicles.

Wonderful vacation!

The place was perfect for our family of 4. The rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfortable. A quick easy walk to the beach that was convenient for lugging all our beach necessities. The pool was often busy, but my kids both still found time to use it without anyone else there. We would stay here again and recommend it for families! Great location!

Beautiful condo!

Renting went flawlessly! Had communication glitches with SPI at check in. Nothing terrible. The door code for the front door was frustrating. Always took multiple times to get it to unlock. Condo was beautiful, close to a nice bar and grill.

Awesome place

Everything about the property was perfect. The unit had everything we needed and having the grill was an added plus. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place. We definitely will be back.

Beautiful island

Condo was wonderful! Had a great time at South Padre Island. Just had trouble with our air conditioning called and 10 minutes later they came to fix it!
