Thank you for your review! We are glad you had an overall great experience staying. We try to add little things to help the guests when away from home. The property had the sleeping arrangements clearly listed in the listing, as well as we discussed the beds prior to your stay and sent extra pictures to your email, upon your request. We cannot accommodate single beds for everyone because you told us the issue was that the adults were not couples and would not be sleeping together. We offered a full refund before your stay and you declined. The "holes in the floor" are the original heating system for the house. Those are vents made with cast iron and we put a thin board over them, which was flush with the floor, to ensure the small children you were traveling with would not lose small toys down them. They are safe to walk on and they are located on the perimeter or corners of the rooms. There is no reason they would be walked on, as they are not in a walking path. The house is very old, and although has been completely updated, it isn't set up for central air. There are air conditioners in every room, as well as ceiling fans, which keeps the house very cool as long as the doors stay shut.
