La Maison Poitevine - Chauvigny

La Maison Poitevine is a charming, fully renovated two-story house. The first floor features the kitchen, the dining room/living room, and a separate restroom. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: one bedroom (with a 140-cm bed) and two bedrooms (each with either a 160-cm bed or two 80-cm beds), as well as a bathroom and a separate toilet. Garden furniture is available in front of the cottage, and heating is billed based on actual usage. Access to a pond allows for on-site fishing (catch-and-release only). Species found include carp, roach, and pike. A 4-person rowboat is available, and the pond is accessible on foot from the cottage or via a road accessible by car. Forest walks are also possible—just cross the path. Chauvigny, a “City of Art and History,” is 7 km away (medieval town, Géants du Ciel, Vélo-Rail, etc.).
