Awake to the glory of the sun peaking over the mountains rivaled only by the smell of fresh brewed coffee wafting from your gourmet kitchen.

Fuel up for adventure because that's just what awaits. Here at Hurricane Ridge, we invite all our guests to choose their own adventure. From tackling the best 4WD trails in the country from our drive-in-drive-out location to hiking some of the most impressive routes in the southern Appalachians. And to be fair, if your idea of adventure looks more like escaping into a good book with a cocktail in hand, we have the perfect hammock spot for just that.

As the sun goes down, that's when some of the very best magic begins. Grill out, gather around the campfire, and prepare to recount the journeys of the day. And just when those precious moments are becoming memories, gaze up towards the some of the best dark-sky star gazing remaining. Welcome to Hurricane Ridge where yesterday, today, and tomorrow are all our favorites!

Such a beautiful home. The views are spectacular! The home was well equipped, clean and perfect for multiple couples or family. The UTV trails are close. 6 couples thoroughly enjoyed this VRBO.

Beautiful and well equipped home with Amazing views

Andrea was quick to send us our check in items on our first day. We knew the property was gorgeous from other reviews and photos, but first views out of the test room were magnificent. The setup was ideal for a large family. Great cooking equipment including pots, pans, and dishes. We talked with John and Andrea a few times during our stay and they are great people that certainly makes us want to return. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Mountain Haven.

5 couples with side by sides hit the TN trails. Hurricane Lodge is an excellent location next to trails with amenities that are way above average. Each room is nice and the gathering areas large and accommodating. The owners are great. I would highly recommend this VRBO. I will hopefully be coming back again soon .

Beautiful location and house

Loved the house. Couple people in the group didn’t like that there were no tv in the bedrooms. Didn’t bother majority of the group. Views were great!! Host was very helpful!

Amazing Views - Wonderful Amenities

Nothing but good things to say here. The place was wonderful and communication was fantastic. Host was on site in side house and dropped by within minutes when we had any questions or just needed a new remote so we could watch The Game! Beautiful views from everywhere. Everyone in our group is excited to return!!

More than what meets the eye

This rental was like no other that I have stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice, the view, size of the home, and private wings for separate coupes was awesome. Not to mention the 250 acres of private well managed trails. Brimstone connections were only about a 20 min ride The only thing I feel it’s important to share is I did speak with John, very nice guy. He had said something about eventually renting out the “overflow” house separately. That would be the difference on weather we return or not. Personally, this property provided the perfect stay for us in all aspects, but if the property begins to be shared we will have to find somewhere else from now on, if not we will be back many times! Thank you again!

Greatest Cabin in Brimstone

We had 6 couples for 7 days. The cabin was perfect, and the view was amazing. There was plenty of room for everyone without being on top of each other. The firepit was great to sit aroung togather at night. It is nice and secluded. We rode carts straight to Brimstone and North Cumberland from the cabin.We will definitely be back!

This property has it all from appreciated remoteness to spectacular views to everything you'll need to be comfortable! We LOVED our stay to the McCracken's! They even included a mascot Bassett for additional enjoyment! I would HIGHLY recommend this property!

Beautiful home with everything and more!

The owners went above and beyond to think of every little detail when building this home. The views were breathtaking, the living space was abundant on both floors for larger groups, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and most importantly for us….the convenient access to so many trails. We had a great time and hope to come back to stay again.

Very nice house that accommodates a large group

This house is set up perfect for multi family’s or couples. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is close to the trails. The house is a very nice customer built home with amazing views we will definitely be back.

Amazing just doesn’t say enough!!!

Andrea’s place looked better than the pictures showed, and the pics are great!! Beautiful location with unbelievable views. Ride right from the property to miles of trails in Brimstone and TWRA. We had 6 trucks with trailers from 16’ to 40’ and there was plenty of room. And, if that isn’t enough, the very accommodating and generous owners, who live on property, take this 5 star place to 10 stars!!!! Before we even left my group of 15 had already decided they want to return next year. Thanks John and Andrea for being the best hosts!!

Fall ride and getaway

The accommodations where excellent; felt like a 5 star resort. The adults, teens and children had plenty of room and bathrooms. We had access to ride in and out to the ATV Parks ; which was great. This place is a gem for a large group.

The property is a must see!

From check in to check out, you won’t find a better place to stay in Huntsville! We had direct trail access and som of the best views I’ve ever seen. Couldn’t ask for more! Excellent hosts!
