Property needs to be better cleaned, maintained and updated.

The property was nice but definitely needed better maintenance and cleaning. -Overall the location is not bad. About halfway bewtween Miami and Fort Lauderdale and lots of restaurants and stores in the area. However, for the amount of money we paid, the property needs to be better cleaned and maintained, furniture replaced and more amenities and attention to details. -The living room, dining room and outside furniture was old and worn. Needs to be replaced. Sofa pillows were busted and old with stuffing exposed. One dining room chair was broken and a guest almost broke his neck. I did not want to sit on the furniture! -The microwave was FILTHY. Bottom of freezer was dirty and fridge not well cleaned. -Dishwasher had dirty dishes with dried foods and a foul smell. We had to wash the pots and pans which were in the dishwasher still dirty. -Limited availability of pots and pans to cook. Only 2 very small saute pans and 1 small pot were available. We had planned to cook multiple meals but was limited because of the lack of cookware. We had to buy aluminum pans and cookie sheets. -Dish sponge to wash dishes was disgusting. We had to buy new ones. -There was an abundance of large flyer cockroaches (water bugs). We killed at least 6 and a lizard in the shower. -The pool was nice and clean but the outside deck was filthy and should have been swept. We had to search for the cushions for the patio furniture which was old and dirty. -There were not enough washclothes and towels for the 8 guests. Only 1 washcloth was present when we arrived. Another set was dropped off on the 2nd day. No extras were provided. -The air temperture at night was freezing and thermostat box was locked and key could not be found. Property manager did bring a new key the next day after advising. -There were no extra blankets available. -There were only 2 flat pillows on each bed. More pillows and better pillows are needed -We ran out of toilet paper and had to request more. Then was told that 2 rolls were left in each bathroom. Firstly, all the rolls were not full rolls. Secondly, it was 8 adults for 5 days and with Walmart brand toilet paper it doesn't last long. -The battery in the smoke detector beeped consistently and needs to be changed. -We had to share 1 remote for 3 rooms upstairs and the TV in one room didn't work right. -Laundry room was locked and not accessible. -There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms. -Master closet had no light.
