Cottage room rates are US$165-$185 per cottage with a max nightly rate of all 6 cottages for US$860 (excluding taxes and fees). Booking fees will be calculated on cottage room(s) occupied and additional charges will be charged at check-out.

Hickatee Cottages is a quaint jungle property rental approximately 1.5 miles from the Punta Gorda town in Belize, Central America. Built in 2005 on 20 acres, it has been created with minimal impact to the environment, and maximum benefit to the community by using local contractors, labor, and suppliers. A small part of the land had been cleared several years before for small-scale farming and it is only this area which has been re-developed for the Cottages. The ‘lion’s share’ of Hickatee Cottages is in its original natural state, with many large trees and lush vegetation and is home to an array of wildlife – howler monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds, blue morpho butterflies, and more!
We are outside of the Punta Gorda city limits and we are off-grid, predominately solar-powered, with comfortable rooms, a low-key relaxed atmosphere and custom service for any group travel need.
Hickatee Cottages offers 6 cottage houses ranging in size. Each house has its own entrance and en-suite facilities, including fully screened windows for excellent ventilation, ceiling fans, hot/cold showers, hammocks and comfortable beds. The property also includes a separate house for the gathering area with a bar area, dining areas, kitchen facilities and library! We have plenty of seating to relax with a book from our library or sit at the bar, and to come together for a group meal on the outdoor verandah. Travel packages can include catered meal services along with the fully equipped kitchen to accommodate self-catering and catering needs!

Note: The rental fee includes full facility use, including the cottage houses, the main dining house, use of kitchen facilities and private use of property grounds and splash pool. Catered meal plans can be made available to any group at a per person cost. Housekeeping laundry services also available at an additional fee.
