This brand new construction second floor one bedroom condo accommodates up to 2 guests. The unit is close to local hiking trails. Step Falls Preserve, Mount Will recreation area, Grafton Notch State Park, Sunday River Ski resort Mount Abram ski area and the Appalachian trail are all close by. The condo has a beautiful deck which faces East and is a perfect place to enjoy your morning breakfast or beverage. The bathroom and entry foyer feature heated floors. The bedroom has a queen size bed.

Nestle Up in Newry!

Escape to The Newry Nest, a newly-constructed, 1 bedroom condo located in rustic Newry, Maine. Surrounded by mountainous woodland, this darling condo has everything you need to make your stay a delightful one. The living room has a leather couch and chair to relax on while you luxuriate by the electric fireplace which is sure to add to your ambience and comfort. There is a 50” TV, and games and jigsaw puzzles to help you pass the time in the evenings. Your modern kitchen is replete with a gas stove, pots, pans, steamer, coffee pot, toaster, basic spices, dishes and silverware. There is a private east-facing deck where you can greet the sun and start your day. Enjoy your morning coffee, which is provided by your host, Kevin. End your day with a hot cup of cocoa or a beverage of your choice. Watch the wood line for deer that just might come for a visit!

Now, for the really good stuff! We hope you brought your skis because Sunday River Ski Resort is less than 10 miles away. Also nearby is Mount Will Recreation Area, Grafton Notch State Park, the Appalachian Trail, and the Androscoggin River for your excursions. Like to cross-country ski, snowshoe or take a leisurely stroll? There are many trails to do just that within walking distance. Want to fish? Got you covered there, too...brooks and streams are less than a mile away.

If you tire of these activities, exhilarate your senses with a snow mobile excursion on ITS 82 (Maine snow trail), which you will have direct access to from the property. Didn’t bring your own machine? Not to worry! Your host is none other than the proprietor of Newry Trails Guide Service and a registered Maine Guide. For an additional fee we provide everything you need to experience a terrific snow mobile adventure! Please check out Newrytrails.com for more details.

We hope you will choose to vacation at The Newry Nest. It is sure to create fond memories and a desire to return to our unparalleled hospitality and Maine charm!
You will have access to the entire condo and the second floor deck which overlooks the east side of Puzzle mountain.

There is currently no resturant food delivery to the Newry Nest. I would suggest if you’re arriving late and looking to get takeout that you check local restaurants in Bethel on your way in and get it to go. For your security and and ours a security camera is being installed facing the parking area. It should be up by 15 February 2024

just a cute place! highly recommend!

Perfect Little Escape!

The “Newry Nest” was the perfect little escape for two. Our stay was very short - we just spent the evening and night before an early ski day, but we will be back! Very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Weekend Trip

My boyfriend and I stayed here while in town for a friends wedding. It’s a very nice little condo/apartment on a property that borders woods. The apartment came with everything we needed for the weekend and both stores and trails are within decent driving distances of the property. Owner was absolutely phenomenal with communication, including reaching out about an item my boyfriend had left behind!

Cozy well furnished escape

Very comfortable, well decorated loft space in the mountains. We had a very relaxing evening after a long day of skiing in a cabin-like atmosphere. We would definitely come back!

Great Experience for First Time in Maine

Our experience was fantastic The owner was super friendly and even met us when we arrived and showed us around The lodging was great, very high end with all the bells and whistles The room is located above a garage but is all new construction The accommodations were located very convenient to hiking and state park access This would be an ideal place for winter with close access to Sunday River ski resort

Can't stay any closer to Grafton Notch SP

If you're visiting the Grafton Notch State Park area this rental is a must stay. I had a great stay here. The property literally borders the state park and is very easy to get to. The rental has everything you need and more. All the amenities seem new and worked great. Kevin is very easy to communicate with and was a great host.

Stocked well condo

This condo above the garage was very nice. Comfortable bed, lots of cozy blankets and plush towels. We only experienced one down side which was an alarm that went off at midnight jumping us out of bed. It quit right away so after a thorough check of the gas stove and heater, we struggled falling back to sleep wondering if it would go off again. It didn’t. We were short on Time so weren’t able to enjoy all the nearby trails which looked amazing. Alll in all, a great place. No complaints.

Perfect in every way!

This was hands down the best VRBO experience we have ever had. It is hard to know where to even begin.Kevin and Diane are amazing host. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. Our flight up to Portland was delayed by 2 days due to weather. This was a much needed romantic getaway. Without even asking Kevin volunteered to let us stay an additional day.Upon arrival we wondered if we were the first guest to stay at the property. It was impeccably clean. The property was equipped with anything and everything possibly needed. Including a pot to cook our New Years Eve lobsters.The property location is gorgeous with a stream running down the mountain out the back door. We greatly enjoyed hiking and taking in the scenery. Also, the waterfall right down the road is breathtaking. Kevin even provided us with drop apples to feed the wildlife.Lastly, upon leaving the property Rox accidentally left some jewelry on the coffee table. They mailed it back wrapped as though it came from a store, with a very nice card. Beautiful property, excellent host, and all around a great experience. We hope to visit again soon.Our only complaint was not being able to stay longer!

Hiking Haven!

Very clean, quiet, and cozy. So close to good hiking. I usually camp but this was great for shoulder season hiking in Grafton, etc. Nice to have a short drive back to a warm place and make dinner, hang out.

My husband and in were in town for a wedding and spent only the evening hours there but the bed was very comfortable, the condo was quaint, clean and well maintained and the owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with as well! Thanks so much for a pleasant Stay! :)

Charming stay in Newry

This hidden gem was exactly what we hoped for at the end of a day of enjoying the beautiful fall leaves. It’s close enough to a handful of restaurants that we were able to eat an early dinner then spend the rest of the evening relaxing. I wish we’d had more time in the area!

Maine getaway

The rented property was exactly as advertised and perfect for two people. It is a great place to relax and recharge with everything you need and could want. My wife and I really enjoyed our time at this property and we would like to visit again.
